The matches were more entertaining than I had expected. As an added bonus, I finally was able to see John McEnroe play a match. Had a great time!

Fun to see these guys are still so awesome to watch. Not well advertised enough. Poor show of guests. Was fun though.

Champions Showdown Tennis was a big letdown!

by CincyHawk on 5/3/15Cintas Center - Cincinnati

Many issues with this event. It was very poorly attended. Tickets were way over-priced at $90 each, and there was little buzz or excitement. Despite the low attendance, concession lines were really long. Worst of all, I felt like MIchael Chang was "going through the motions" when he played McEnroe. I love the W&S Tennis Tournament in Mason -- have been going every year since 1991 -- but I'm "one & done" with the Champions Showdown (unless Pete Sampras is playing!).

It was quite enjoyable. I loved how the players interacted with each other and the fans. They put on a good show. The tennis was excellent to watch.

    Not Worth It

by CincyTennis on 5/3/15Cintas Center - Cincinnati

Our expensive seats had an obstructed view. It was easy to move though because of the low attendance. Although I have admired all the players through the years, there was very little entertainment.

    Disappointing

by Anonymous on 5/3/15Cintas Center - Cincinnati

The format is that they play two single match-ups -- one set each. Then the winners play each other in a final single set. It went by very quickly and there was quite a discrepancy in ability between someone as young as James Blake playing someone as old as John McEnroe. While it was good to see these retirees play, there was something very anti-climactic about it. If I had it to do over, I wouldn't have gone.
