It has been more than ten years since Celtic Woman first captured America's imagination with its self-titled first public television special.  That historic concert performance launched a genuine cultural phenomenon, introducing millions of new fans to the group's fresh fusion of traditional Irish music, contemporary studio craft and state-of-the-art stage production.

    A nostalgic Musical Trip to Eire

    As a longtime viewer of the "Celtic Women "performances presented during PBS fundraisers, I was delighted to actually see them live in Tucson, the city where I live. The two-hour performance did not disappoint.The staging, lighting and costuming provided a perfect setting for the presentation of both new and traditional songs from Ireland. The singers, musicians and dancers were all seasoned and talented professionals whose enthusiasm for their homeland and its music carried the audience along in a joyous celebration. I am grateful to have been along for the ride.

    Had a wonderful time. Sat up close and we were dazzled by both the presentation and the songs. If you haven't seen Celtic women, I highly recommend you do.

    I have always wanted to see the Celtic Woman in cencert. So glad that I bought my tickets. I loved the variety of singing, dancing and bag pipes. Now I want to go to Ireland.

    The production was exemplary in every way, Celtic Woman is so beautiful, artful, and a class production. The band, the performers, the stage, and oh the women and their incredible voices and harmony. We can see why they’ve been here for 20 years bringing us joy and hoping for 20 more! Fantastic!!

    A fun show!

    We loved the show, however we had an issue with stage spot lights. We were sitting in the front seats of the upper back and the (left and right stage) spot lights would shine directly into our eye at times. It was pretty brutal! Other than that, great show!

    Celtic Women 20th Anniversary Tour

    Don't rush to buy a ticket. Not one of the better shows. Bad acoustics in the venue with the music overwhelming the vocals. Some new songs were added but they were underwhelming.

    Terrible Sound

    First of all, I love Celtic Woman and have CDs and have seen them at several venues. I was so disappointed seeing them at Centennial Hall in Tucson, AZ. The sound was absolutely terrible. I had seats E110-E111 and it sounded like they were singing into a shoebox. The last two songs before the intermission had the background instruments playing so loud you could barely hear the ladies. I know the ladies of Celtic Woman are incredibly talented and this venue did not do them justice. We walked out after the intermission started, as I didn't want my memory of them tainted by this venue's sound quality.
