About
WICKED is a Tony-winning sensation that has been defying gravity and delighting Broadway audiences since 2003. With music and lyrics by Stephen Schwartz and a book by Winnie Holzman, the fantastical prequel to The Wizard of Oz was nominated for 10 Tony Awards after it opened at the Gershwin Theatre in New York City, and won three, including Best Actress for Idina Menzel, who played the original Elphaba. The musical’s first national tour opened in 2005 and ever since, WICKED’s touring production has criss-crossed North America offering theatergoers one short day in the Emerald City filled with magic, music and the ”untold true story of the Witches of Oz.” The second national tour — known as the “Munchkinland Tour” — has been an open-ended production since 2009 and now stars Olivia Valli as Elphaba and Celia Hottenstein as Glinda.

WICKED is currently on tour through August 2024, making stops at major cities across the U.S. Individual and group tickets for the show are available through Ticketmaster.com.

I took my niece for her birthday and my birthday which was in Feb so we looked forward to it for a long time!! Worth the wait the cast was wonderful.

Not disappointed from the previous reviews. The one opportunity I had the opportunity to get closer seats, met with some obstruction of the entire stage.
