WICKED is a Tony-winning sensation that has been defying gravity and delighting Broadway audiences since 2003. With music and lyrics by Stephen Schwartz and a book by Winnie Holzman, the fantastical prequel to The Wizard of Oz was nominated for 10 Tony Awards after it opened at the Gershwin Theatre in New York City, and won three, including Best Actress for Idina Menzel, who played the original Elphaba. The musical’s first national tour opened in 2005 and ever since, WICKED’s touring production has criss-crossed North America offering theatergoers one short day in the Emerald City filled with magic, music and the ”untold true story of the Witches of Oz.” The second national tour — known as the “Munchkinland Tour” — has been an open-ended production since 2009 and now stars Olivia Valli as Elphaba and Celia Hottenstein as Glinda.

We date orchestra left row j. The stage construction was amazing, the performance spot on, and the talent through the roof. Did not know anything going in and really enjoyed it. I was smiling, laughing, gasping, and even got emotional. This is a must see for sure.
Well worth the trip. Great play. Had a beautiful day I Grand Rapids.
It was amazing, by far one of the best shows I have seen.
The show was beautiful. The singers were amazing and the costuming and sets were top notch. This is the 3rd time that I have seen Wicked and it was my favorite of the three.
Wicked was an extraordinary show. Performers are so talented and vocals are exquisite. An absolutely wonderful show.
Had tickets to an evening show in Knoxville but was unable to go due to a heavy snow. Upon searching, found it was showing in Memphis in April. So 5 of my friends in Knoxville and my cousin in Memphis bought tickets. Best idea ever!! Character portrayal, acting, costumes, sets....everything was absolutely incredible!! Everyone should see it...even if it's 350 plus miles away!! It is a must-see!!!!
Wicked was absolutely amazing! The entire cast was phenomenal!!
This is my third time seeing this show, and I was happy that we got to share it with our daughter! The seats we had were great, and I’m glad we were able to see everything from our vantage point. The only thing(s) I had issue with were the intermission being so quick, bathrooms were on a lower level and crowded, people coming into the show late, and a guy sitting next to me and crowding me. Given those were not show related, it did not ruin the time we had for this show. We laughed, cried, and enjoyed it every minute of it!
This was my sixth time to see Wicked over the past 18 years. The magic is still there! The cast was amazing and the tour production was fantastic.
