About

Maria Victoria Ramirez de Arellano Cardona, artistically recognized as Young Miko, is an artist and composer born in Anasco, Puerto Rico. Her passion for sports and art led her to acquire her first microphone with the income she earned as a tattoo artist. That's how she started recording her songs in her room.

In July 2021, she debuted with the single "105 Freestyle '', marking the beginning of her career in the urban genre. Surprising the industry, she made an impact with the Trap/Rap "Vendetta" in collaboration with Villano Antillano. She closed 2021 as one of the most influential female artists of her generation in Puerto Rico with the release of "Puerto Rican Mami." In July 2022, she released her first EP called "Trap Kitty'' where she demonstrated her complete dominance in the music scene. The EP started with "Standard," the album's main track. Then, she made an impact with "Riri," a song that has exceeded 30 million views to date. This success solidified her image as a versatile and outgoing performer. Her first world tour, the "Trap Kitty World Tour" took her to perform in 17 countries with a total of 46 shows in 44 cities, all sold out to capacity.

Songs like "Wiggy" and "Lisa" contributed to her career growth. In particular, "Lisa," which surpassed 30 million views and positioned Young Miko as the first Puerto Rican artist to enter a solo song in Spotify's Global Top 200, reached #150. During 2023, she released collaborations such as "Chulo, Pt 2" with Tokischa and Bad Gyal, "ID" with Jowell & Randy, and "Colmillo" with Tainy, J Balvin, and Jowell & Randy. In addition, she received recognition as "Billboard's Latin Rookie of the Year" and was recognized as a Breakthrough Artist at the Los 40 Awards held in Madrid.

In her brief but successful career, collaborations such as "Classy 101" with the Colombian singer Feid stand out, which was positioned on the Hot 100 Latin Song Billboard. In addition, her collaboration with Bad Bunny in "Fina" debuted in second position on the Billboard Hot Latin Song and positioned itself on the Hot 100 Latin Song chart.

On the other hand, the singer and songwriter began 2024 by launching the 58th session of the renowned Argentine producer Bizarrap, which has more than 55 million views on YouTube.

At the 22nd edition of the Coachella festival, she made her debut as the only Puerto Rican to perform at this festival, which brings together great artists for two weekends a year, marking a significant milestone in her career.

Young Miko, who defines herself as someone with values, flaws, goals to achieve, dreams and ideals, obtained two nominations in the 36th edition of the Premio Lo Nuestro. She was nominated in the Female Artist of the Year - Urban and Song of the Year - Urban categories for her "Classy 101" hit, which won.

Additionally, she has been honored at the Billboard Women in Music Awards ceremony, where she received the Impact Award. This recognition comes after the song "Classy 101" reached Billboard's Hot 100 Latin Song last year.

  • Would wait in like 24 hours for 20min

by Mikosexual from the Bay Area on 8/16/25Rating: 5 out of 5

1 thing you can NEVER say about Miko is that she doesn’t give it her ALL. She puts on an incredible show every time, makes sure to engage with her fans, reading and acknowledging signs, accepting gifts, telling a few jokes and spreading words of encouragement. If I could go to every show, I would.

  • Not a great “Lolla aftershow”

by Bee on 8/4/25Byline Bank Aragon Ballroom - ChicagoRating: 1 out of 5

The line to get into this venue was absurd! A couple blocks long. We waiting over 20 mints to get in and only catch Young Miko perform 3 songs. For an $80 tickets to a sold out show, there should be more organization that the presenter or/and venue should manage. Not a very good feeling of missing out on a concert that was planned out by fan what drove 40 into the city to then missed the whole thing. This was ridiculous.

  • Disappointed

by Jordan on 8/4/25Byline Bank Aragon Ballroom - ChicagoRating: 1 out of 5

Arrived at the show 45 minutes after start time and the line was still wrapped around the block to get in…. Waited 30 minutes in line and was left with about a 20 minute concert. What I got to see of the show was great, but the line to get in especially after the concert had already been going on for 45 minutes was ridiculous.

  • not worth the money

not worth the money for only a 20 minutes performance

  • Short event

by Jas on 8/4/25Byline Bank Aragon Ballroom - ChicagoRating: 2 out of 5

She started at 12 and ended her show at 12:46. Now I understand but I didn’t pay for a club experience. I wish it would have stayed somewhere that it may be a short concert. The vibes were good but disappointed in how long her performance was.

  • It’s baby mikooo

by Isa on 6/20/25Rating: 5 out of 5

His concert is incredible, officially the best I've ever been to. He has spectacular energy, the way he interacts with his fans, and the way he moves on stage is simply phenomenal.

  • Best concert hands down!

by Roxy Drew on 1/21/25Rating: 5 out of 5

To say that this concert was absolutely phenomenal and moving is an understatement. The way young miko is able to connect with her fans from the stage is astonishing. I loved how she alap acknowledged both English and Spanish signs that her fans had made during the show as well! 10/10 would whole heartedly see her again, you can tell she absolutely adores her fans and enjoys performing!

  • Amazing. Have to go again

by Anahi on 12/7/24Rating: 5 out of 5

Loved the concert!!! She is born to perform and her songs fit any mood. Espero que hay otra tour💌! The concert was amazing the merch was amazing, the people in the auditorium were the worst part. But it is manageable, but I would 100% recommend.
