    ARW Great

by Elbert on 10/12/16DPAC - Durham Performing Arts Center - Durham

I saw ARW in Durham, they were great. It does not get any better than Rick Waksman & Jon Anderson. Trevor Rabin did great playing guitar and I loved the drums. I was worried about the bass sounding good, he did a tremendous job, of course Chris can never be replaced

    Wakeman is amazing

by 32footfan on 10/12/16DPAC - Durham Performing Arts Center - Durham

Wake an was amazing in the DPAC. The sounds were very good, and this base player captured Squire more than the new one with Yes. It was good to hear Anderson. Guitar is different than Howe. It was also interesting to see them struggle with structure or fight to be together a couple of times. For us mere mortals trying to play the Yes classic repertoire we struggle with exactly those issues. The sound was amazing. I have been a wakeman fan for many years. His technical ability coupled with musicianship is stellar. I don't know how he handles 4000 watts of QSC right in his face as monitors. Must have ear plugs or in ear monitors. Their sound guy did struggle some to keep instruments balanced. I am not sure why wakeman doesn't use a keyboard tech to que up some of the sounds on at least the kronoses. Of course can't do that on minimoogs or some of the older boards.

This was my 4th Yes/ARW/ABWH concert. Outstanding music, vocals. 2 hours of enjoyment. Highly recommend.

    Magical

by bdcosmo on 10/12/16DPAC - Durham Performing Arts Center - Durham

The show was everything any fan would think it would be. At DPAC the sound was excellent, Jon sounded better than he ever has, Trevor, while a little rusty in places, is still the genius he's always been, Rick.Freakin.Wakeman! and Lee Pomeroy and Lou Molino are the perfect rhythm section for these guys.

Anderson Rabin & Wakeman Storm Durham

by NCYES4EVER on 10/12/16DPAC - Durham Performing Arts Center - Durham

From the opening until the very end, ARW delivered a magical evening of music that literally transported their fans back to the glory days of Yes! This is one act you cannot miss and perhaps could be your last chance to ever see them again!

    Fantastic show!

by ForeverYes on 10/12/16DPAC - Durham Performing Arts Center - Durham

Thank you, thank you for braving the storm and giving us a night of amazing music after the hurricane. Jon Anderson, your voice is amazing and no one can ever match that! Watching you feel the music like an artist watching his creation come to life was so enjoyable. Trevor Rabin, your guitar skills are amazing, and Rick Wakeman, I finally got to see the man with the famous cape!! Loved it, loved it, loved it. You guys did an amazing job!! Blessings on the rest of the tour. If you have been a Yes fan for years, the tickets will be worth every penny!!

    Yes evening

by Papyrusapus24 on 10/12/16DPAC - Durham Performing Arts Center - Durham

Wonderful that I was able to see one of my favorite bands. Jon Anderson looks rejuvenated, and this first time Rabin performed in my Yes line up. It always good listening classics live, never tired perpetual change or you and I, but the best was hold on and lonely heart hits from the 80s or 90s. To me Chris Squire made a difference, I enjoyed his moves and vocals. The bassists does his job though.

    Fantastic concert!

by NCBrawn on 10/12/16DPAC - Durham Performing Arts Center - Durham

I'm more of a classic rock guy, Rush fan by marriage. Saw Yes back in 1988 and wasn't sure what to expect out of the ARW concert. It was fantastic! One two hour set plus encore. Played classic Yes tunes. The guys were incredible. Jon Anderson's voice is great, sounds like he hasn't aged a day. Rick Wakeman had his whole giant keyboard setup going as well as the whole cape thing. Highly recommend this show!

Anderson, Rabin, and Wakeman (ARW) = YES - Amazing

by stevegorney on 10/10/16Hard Rock Live Orlando - Orlando

We were lucky enough to see Anderson, Rabin, and Wakeman (ARW) in their first show on the tour. No one knew what to expect. What we got was YES - and it was perfect. All the classic songs that you wanted to hear and more. I miss Chris Squire, but the new bass player is a freak and great. Tears and smiles and the crowd stood for more than half the songs!! Jon Anderson sounded like he did in the 70s. Rick Wakeman was perfect, and Trevor Rabin ripped!

    Fantastic Evening

by Yescop on 10/10/16Hard Rock Live Orlando - Orlando

Jon's voice was magnificent. Rick coming out with his cape was electrifying and his playing was stellar. Loved seeing Trevor on stage. He hasn't been up there for about 20 years but what a welcome feeling from the 1st note to the Encore. Don't miss this experience.

Band Not Tight Set List Weak

by Frankolino on 10/10/16DPAC - Durham

Jon apologized after they had to restart a song by saying that this was just their 3rd performance. They attempted to harmonize voices but failed. Too many long, slow, and regrettably boring songs in the set list. Wanted to see Wakeman and accomplished that. He and the new bassist were the highlights. Trevor is an average guitarist. Too bad Steve Howe is just too old.

    Outstanding Check for Bucket List

by ReelFaith on 10/9/16Hard Rock Live Orlando - Orlando

I felt like I was back in Jr. High School 40 years or more ago listening to a band sound as good now as good now as it did then. All the great YES classics were covered and seeing Anderson, Rabin, and Wakeman perform in person (especially Rick) was a thrill and a Bucket List accomplishment.

    Not to be missed!

by Soundnut on 10/9/16Hard Rock Live Orlando - Orlando

I was reminiscing all night. What a show! Jon still sings like he always did, Wakeman has the Wakeman sound I've always loved (still has 2 MiniMoog's up there!), Trevor was spot on on everything (and he looks way better than Howe!). I didn't want it to end.

ARW- Lifts off the tour at HardRock Live Orlando

by PuckSlinger on 10/8/16Hard Rock Live Orlando - Orlando

WOW, It's been 12 years since we have been graced with Yes music from Jon Anderson and Rick Wakeman who were part of the classic Yes quintet configuration back in 04. As for Trevor Rabin it's been 25 years dating back In the Union days when Yes toured as an 8 member group. This ensemble breathes new life into those glorious Yes songs of yesteryear. We had front row seats directly in front of Rick Wakeman. We enjoyed the music and showmanship so much that we will be going again at the Hard Rock Live, Wednesday in Hollywood Florida. We thought the light show was very weak compared with what Yes had on their summer tour. The show scheduled for the sixth was postponed until the 12th because of the Hurricane. Very good for us. Check out this tour if it gets to a City nearby. Great interpretations of classic Yes songs from the past. Must see for real Yes fans. We appreciate having had the opportunity to experience all the various Yes configurations, over the years. This Group and tour is very special to those of us who have seen the perpetual change.

Great show. Crowd not so much...

by Pacdog on 10/8/16Hard Rock Live Orlando - Orlando

ARW had a great show doing mostly older Yes classics. Sound was also superb at the Hard Rock Live in Orlando. My only complaint would be many in the crowd was just not into Yes like one would like. I got many glares as did others who were getting into the music. Why go to a concert if you are not there to really enjoy it? Band gets a 10, but crowd gets a 5..

    Awesome show!!

by RCDan on 10/7/16Hard Rock Live Orlando - Orlando

Really enjoyed hearing a little more than two hours of Yes music from multiple decades. They mixed in the 90125 stuff with Fragile and The Yes Album, and the new drummer and bass player did a great job. Rick Wakeman is the best keyboard player on the planet, and was the reason I went, but was glad to hear Jon's voice holding up well. Trevor is just an overall awesome musician. I wish I could see this again. I'll sound old fashioned when I say this, but a show that starts on time, plays a 2+ hour set where I know every song, and gets me home in time to get to work on time the next morning is a dream come true.

    The Essence of YES

by Anonymous on 10/7/16Hard Rock Live Orlando - Orlando

It was a memorable expedience. Great sound although Rick's keyboards could not be clearly heard at times. Specially when he was doing his solos, but that was not his fault. Always superb. Jon was doing great all things considered. He is truly the voice of Yes. Trevor was trembling at times (probably nervous after 25 years of retirement from the stages but did an awesome job. The drummer did a good job although got lost couple of times. The bassist also did great and you could see Rick staring at him during his "Fish" solo and it seemed like a "seal of approval" kind of look. All together an excellent show. (and historic for Yes fans)
