    Essential YES Concert

by Markus123 on 9/12/18The Rose Music Center at The Heights - Huber Heights

The YES concert was awesome! The band really enjoyed playing some of their greatest hits and reacted well to crowd response. The sound was really well done compared to some other concerts at The Rose Music Center. The voices came thru very clear as did the each instrument, not always the case with concerts. Overall an excellent show that I highly recommend if you enjoy YES music.

Yes featuring Anderson, Rabin & Wakeman

by PerceyP on 9/12/18The Rose Music Center at The Heights - Huber Heights

These guys are firing on all cylinders!! Jon Anderson, at alsomst 74, is a freak of nature - he sounds better than contemporaries 1/2 his age. Beautiful! Rick Wakeman is at the top of the heap when it come to keyboard players in this genre and still has all his necessay chops to deliver. Trevor Rabin's voice was a bit weak, but Jon "helped" for some of his parts and it might have actually been better. Trevor can still shred though! I've seen many incarnations of Yes over the years and with drummer, Lou Molino III, and bassist, Lee Pomerory, this is definitiely one of the best cast of muscisians I've seen from a Yes show. For me, 'Heart of the Sunrise' was one of the best performances I've seen from any band fron any show! The only negarive is that the show was "only" about 2 hours long. I wish they would've palyed for about 5 hours!!

The Best Rock Concert of the Summer

by JFB12 on 9/12/18The Rose Music Center at The Heights - Huber Heights

YES was the best concert of the Summer at the Rose. The band was hitting on all cylinders. Lead singer never missed a note. Yes played several years ago at the Fraze AND there is a tremendous difference in their sound at the Rose. The Rose's acoustics are so much better. Sounded as if you had just put a CD in.

ARW was an amazing experience. Played just about every song I wanted except for Lift Me Up. The band made you feel like it was a personal experience and the venue was intimate, perfect for the band's message.

by ProgFrog on 9/12/18The Rose Music Center at The Heights - Huber Heights

Jons voice incredible, missed Squire's bass, Pomeroy (would have liked to hear him more) which was overshadowed by Rabin, which he was awesome, they will continue YES legacy, Rcks zipper was down.

    Amazing!

by Kammieoh on 9/12/18The Rose Music Center at The Heights - Huber Heights

This was a bucket list concert for me, and it didn't disappoint. ARW were AWESOME. Jon Anderson's voice is pure heaven. He puts so much feeling into every word he sings. Trevor Rabin excelled on lead guitar and Wakeman was, well...Wakeman. A keyboard virtuoso! Extraordinary! They played for two hours and ended with Roundabout. I couldn't have asked for a better experience.

    Painful night

by yeselp on 9/11/18Hard Rock Rocksino Northfield Park Hard Rock Live - Northfield

I'm a YES diehard. I've been that since 1971. This show was the 11th time I saw them live. I own the CD's, DVD,s, wear YES t-shirts, and was blessed to be invited by Jon into his dressing room back in the eighties. I begin by saying Jon's voice was incredible. I don't know how he does it. But there were two things that cause me to give this show a poor review. This show was almost exactly the show I saw about two years ago. With all the wealth of songs to choose from in the YES library, why the same songs? The version of Awaken, one of my favorites, was performed better two years ago. My other problem was the venue. The sound is sketchy at best. Also, the venue a few feet away from a casino and beer sales everywhere, I feared what the crowd might sound like. People all around us talked and talked loudly during the songs. It seemed like the crowd was not a YES crowd, I've experienced a few of those delightfully, but a bunch of people there simply to do something on a Saturday night. BTW, I decided I wouldn't buy their live CD, but listened to parts of it the next day on iTunes. Perpetual Change, made buying the CD worth it.

    Yes KILLED it.

by ChrisSquireFan on 9/11/18Hard Rock Rocksino Northfield Park Hard Rock Live - Northfield

I had a meet and greet package for Yes, and it was fabulous and top notch. The management did a nice job with it and after a somewhat lengthy wait, it was worth it as the artists were friendly and the event came off real nice. And the show: FABULOUS. If you're thinking about it: GO. You won't regret it. Get a meet and greet if you have the extra money. It was nice.

Yes - ARW - Another great show!

by MWIndustries on 9/11/18Hard Rock Rocksino Northfield Park Hard Rock Live - Northfield

I was thrilled to see Anderson/Rabin/Wakeman for the 3rd year in a row!! I have been a huge YES freak for nearly 50 years. They are all so gifted - I don't care which version I see - I will continue to attend their concerts as long as they are able to perform. Chris Squire's death shows that life is way too short - I wish they would put aside their differences and reunite!! In the meantime, I will continue to enjoy either band and listen to the "finest progressive rock music in the world". God Bless them, everyone!!

    Say Yes To Yes

by BadMovieGuy on 9/11/18Hard Rock Rocksino Northfield Park Hard Rock Live - Northfield

The OG's of Yes. Jon Anderson was remarkable. His voice was on point. Rick Wakeman was owning the keyboards. Still wearing his capes like back from the 70's. Trevor Rabin sounded great. I hope they tour again someday. I would again travel to another city to see them. In this case I came from Detroit to Cleveland to see this version of Yes.

    YES featuring ARW

by edstephan on 9/11/18Hard Rock Rocksino Northfield Park Hard Rock Live - Northfield

YES featuring Jon Anderson, Trevor Rabin, Rick Wakeman Concert 43 for 2018 Hard Rock Rocksino Northfield Park The meet & greet prior to the show and the sound check was great. And the swag bag was pretty cool as well Anderson still hits the notes with flawless delivery, Wakeman is flawless but was lacking the old showmanship, Lee Pomeroy is a bass player extraordinaire, Lou Molino III is a great drummer and has been longtime band mates of Wakeman and Rabin Rabin i knew was great but he is an absolute monster guitar player that exceeded my expectations, after all he is replacing the great Steve Howe he is more of a rocker to Howes more ethereal sound. I had not seen Rabin since the Union tour in 1991 I had seen him previous on the 90125 and Big Generator tours in the 80's It was really cool for Rick and Trevor to walk down the aisles past me, while playing Roundabout . Setlist Cinema Hold On I've Seen All Good People Changes And You and I Rhythm of Love I Am Waiting Heart of the Sunrise Awaken Owner of a Lonely Heart (with "Make It Easy"… more ) Play Video Encore: Roundabout Life on Mars? (David Bowie song) (Rick Wakeman piano solo)
