Sick Puppies were the highlight of the night!!

by Dumplin12 on 9/20/10Harris Riverfront Park - Huntington

It was incredible, the bands were great. I loved Cavo and Sick Puppies. It was my first time to X-Fest, I definately will not forget it. I will be back next year for sure. Seether was great too, he isn't great at getting the fans going, but he has a great voice. But Sick Puppies were so great, they was amazing live!!!!!!!

    X-Fest 15

by Jax71 on 9/20/10Montgomery County Fairgrounds - Dayton

This was a great show. Fun festival atmosphere & fantastic music. I have never heard of the Paper Tongues & they were very good. I definatly would like to see them live again. Sick Puppies were probably my favorite act. They are high energy & put on one hell of a show. I also enjoyed Papa Roach a great deal. This was my first music festival & I really like it a lot.

    Less than desirable event

by TCampbell13 on 9/20/10Harris Riverfront Park - Huntington

I'm one of the old school elite who rocked out back in the 90's to Xfest at Ritter Park Ampitheater. I've been going to Xfest on and off since. (I can't make them all as I travel for work). The last best show ever was Xfest 2004. The lineup was incredible and the energy even better. Xfest has been spiraling downhill ever since. This last particular show, was poorly managed / communicated. They would not sell anymore VIP bracelets. Why? The VIP pit wasn't even 1/2 full. The beers were warm the entire time and the service staff was fairly rude. Unfortunately, the local and loud stage did not get the promotion it normally does either. Where was the 2nd stage lineup posted? The selection of band gear and other vendors was terrible. Where were the smaller vendors who used to sell all kinds of stuff from headbands, jewelry, to various clothing? I'm just gonna say, I have retired this event. Rock on the range is where it's at now. Sorry Xfest....get it together please.

    Phatdaddy

by NatiMike2k10 on 9/18/10Montgomery County Fairgrounds - Dayton

Shinedown's lead vocalist was too into himself making a speech before every song. Otherwise their set was pretty good. I did think that Papa Roach put on a better show as did Drowning Pool.

Papa Roach and Shinedown Stole the Show!!!

by m4rci4 on 9/16/10Montgomery County Fairgrounds - Dayton

Bought the tickets because we hadn't seen Papa Roach in a while, and going to a show was way overdue! I love an outdoor show and the festival atmosphere made it even better! Plenty of room at the venue. I saw people of all ages, shapes and sizes, all having a blast! Papa Roach and Shinedown stole the show, as usual!!! The weather was simply perfect, too...I can't think of anything that I would change about my experience, except that I would have loved to have been able to get autographs from PR--but the line was way too long, and they only had 20 minutes or so to meet and greet.

It was so unreal & amazing :) We are going to continue to go to every X-fest from here on out! Finally got to meet my #1 band ---PAPA ROACH <3 Thank You X-fest!!!!!!

    Met Shinedown!!!

by michiganistan on 9/15/10Montgomery County Fairgrounds - Dayton

Overall the festival was only decent. The band selection was okay. The setting was a giant fairgrounds, so hay and slight odor were around, but that you got used to. Papa Roach was very good, Seether had a flu going around so their performance was only so-so compared to the other times I've seen them, but they still held it together and pulled through a great show so mad props to them. The highlight was definitely meeting shinedown!!! This was actually my tenth shinedown show (yes I realize that's ridiculous) and they had an autograph tent for all the artists at designated times; however, they sucked at keeping the line going, so maybe about 50 people got to actually meet any bands. We were in line for 2 and a half hours and were after the time cut off, the only reason we actually got back was because my boyfriend uses a wheelchair and they accomodate to handicapped. Oh well, on a selfish note it was spectacular for us, but for the other hundreds of fans waiting in line-huge disappointment.

Not the greatest XFest I've been to, still great

by obucks140 on 9/15/10Montgomery County Fairgrounds - Dayton

THis wasn't the best XFest I've ever been to but it was still better than any other show that comes to the area. I've seen most of the bands that were there multiple times and they didn't disappoint, it was totally worth the money.

    Loved Seether

by meanoldauntsarah on 9/15/10Verizon Wireless Music Center - Noblesville

I really wish the bands had more time on stage which might have been the result of the last minute band add on?!? But the show rocked.... really wished Seether would have headlined. I do not think Buckcherry is headline material.

    ALL BANDS WERE AMAZING

by CryGrrPfoot on 9/15/10Montgomery County Fairgrounds - Dayton

The five last bands; drowning pool, papa roach, seether, sick puppies, and shinedown, killed it! They did a terrific job, this year was much better than last years. The event is managed and ran overall well. The crowds are huge the bands are loud and its such a blast! If you are one who just likes to watch and listen you can. If you are one who likes to headbang, moshpit, and crowdsurf (Myself) then you'd of loved this event!

    X-Fest 15 a complete success.

by NocturnalxConcerto on 9/15/10Montgomery County Fairgrounds - Dayton

I purchased tickets for me and my sister to attend the X-Fest 15 event in Dayton, Ohio. The event was absolutely amazing. The bands were fantastic. The best part of the entire event was the very last band that played, which was Shinedown. They brought it home and made the experience so much more memorable.

    Great Value for the Money.

by BrittaniAnn on 9/15/10Montgomery County Fairgrounds - Dayton

Too many kids...sound on one stage not so hot. Not a fan of the back and forth. Seether lucky enough to perform on the stage that sounded better.

It was a really good show. All the bands sounded great. Thought the crowd surfing got a little carried away. Kicked in the the head 4 times in one song. Also do not understand why cameras are not allowed but you can take pictures with your cell phone. It is easier to get pictures out with a phone than a camera. Found a new band to love in Janus. Those boys where amazing. Great stage energy and they sounded just as good if not better live as the album. It was an over all good time and the set up of the fair grounds was really good. You could make your way from stage to stage and in between the booth with ease.

Papa Roach rocked it once again!!!!!!

by musicislife2007 on 9/14/10Montgomery County Fairgrounds - Dayton

X Fest 15 was awesome this year! Papa Roach was definitely the best once again. They can't be beat when it comes to live performances. Sick Puppies was really good too. I'm really glad they replaced Sublime. Shinedown was 10 times better than the last time I saw them in concert. The one band I have to pick on though is Seether. It seemed like they had no clue what they were doing! They played their instruments for 10 whole minutes without singing anything (LAME). And when they finally got around to singing, they didn't sound too great :/ They also skipped lines in several of their songs. So... all in all... The Concert was GREAT!!!!!! I am definitely going next year, and for many years to come :)

the concert was AMAZING!!! Shinedown, Seether, Papa Roach?!?! I couldn't have asked for a better combination.. I just hope that they all tour together again VERY soon in the future. Only thing I regret is not being able to see Seether on the other stage. I stayed at the main stage to be front row for Shinedown (which was awesome, don't get me wrong), but they don't sing to the crowd like Seether and Papa Roach does. I still would recommend it to everyone!!
