With the release of her 1992 self-titled solo debut, Wynonna emerged as a singular force in American music. Beyond the five Grammy Awards, the multi-platinum albums and sold-out tours, the country/soul vocalist built on the Appalachian traditionalism that defined The Judds to create a world where Top 5 dance/club hits were as possible as being inducted into the Country Music Hall of Fame.
Having practically grown up as America's favorite musical daughter, Wynonna matured into a woman who embraced how life is filled with peaks and valleys, great thrills, and heavy disappointment. Those realities informed her 5-times platinum Wynonna and nearing 3-times platinum Tell Me Why, the albums that gave voice to every human being emerging into their own adulthood with joy in their heart.
Beyond the groundbreaking music she and her mother created as The Judds, Wynonna has grown into her once-in-a-generation vocal prowess with an ease that made people clamor to her. "No One Else On Earth," "Tell Me Why," "She Is His Only Need," "Girls With Guitars," and "I Saw The Light" set the next chapter in motion of for the girl from Ashland, Kentucky who became a global superstar.
Great concert. Wyonna can sing and belt out a tune with the best. Their band(The BIg Noise was fabulous. A great time was had by all. Very entertaining.

Sitting in the first few rows is like having a private concert of your own!
We found out that free tickets were being given away which was discouraging since we paid for our tickets. We expected some of her classic songs but most of her sets were new songs with her band drowning out her singing since the band over powered her and you had trouble hearing the words of the song. If you want to hear a loud noise and a lot of drums this is the concert for you. For us it left us very disappointed as we expected a lot better from this legend!!
Wynonna put on a great show she sounded fantastic. Having it at the Golden Nugget Lake Charles grand event center which only holds about 2,000 made it a very intimate show.
Wynonna was great! We really enjoyed the concert! Wynonna's band was awesome! She has a great connection with her audience, posing for photos from her fans! Her voice is as good as ever! Thanks for coming to Lake Charles!!
I wish she would've sang more old classics but she was awesome. Her voice is still amazing and they put on a great show.
From the time she took the stage, Wynona was connected with the audience and wanted to please everyone with her beautiful voice.
Rich, thick vocals, simplicity behind her band's BIG sound, Wynonna has truly fallen into a groove that is genuine. She's bluesy, jazzy, sweet simple country, and bad to the bone rocker chick all in one amazingly talent artist. She's a legend and she knows it, she commands the room and the stage with confidence and a "give a damn" attitude because she knows what comes out of her is a mesmerizing performance. Husband and drummer, Cactus Moser, formerly with the band Highway 101, gives Judd a confidence boost and playful banter on stage that kicks up the energy on stage. There are moments when the drums can overshadow Wynonna's booming vocals, but it's with good cause. Moser is a showman and a miracle player. A motorcycle accident left him without a leg and nearly severed his hand in 2012. One would never assume or guess this man had overcome such trauma to regain his abilities to play - and do so with more passion than ever in his life. I don't use the terms "disabled" or politically correct "differently abled" because thus guy's skills are anything but. Overall, a great mix of songs in the set to include hits spanning across her 30+ years in the business. The crowd enthusiastically joined in singing lyrics to "Grandpa" from the 1980's as of it were a chart topper yesterday. She included a fantastic sampling from her recent release that showcased that Americana grit and rawness, solidifying where she's at both personally and professionally on the sassy and rousing "Cool Ya". Other highlights were her hits from the 1990's solo career. Sweet nostalgia echoed through the room as again the crowd joined in to classics "She Is His Only Need" and "No One Else On Earth."
She is so friendly and put on one heck of a performance!
Hard to see her. She never came to out side of stage. Stayed on other side. Sang songs we did not know. Did not sing older songs. Daughter 35 years and disabled wanted to go. Had not been to concert in years. So disappointed. Price too much for what we experienced.
Her voice is amazing! She commands the stage and is pure charisma! I wasn't ready for the show to end!!!!

Wynonna has a new sound with The Big Noise and it's terrific. A great night of music for anyone who appreciates creativity and outstanding sounds. Wynonna is a great performer and her talent really comes through with this new approach to music.
Great concert. She put on a good show and played with heart and soul. I appreciated her husband, the drummer, who was both loving and kickass.
Sassy, soulful, and down to earth---Wynonna and The Big Noise brought audience members up out of their seats and down on their knees.
When Wynonna made her entrance Saturday night, the crowd gave her a standing ovation. Over the next 2 hours, she proved why. Those who attended thinking it was going to be a "Judd's Greatest Hits" performance were at the wrong show. The first 3/4 of the show featured her latest album and solo hits. Wynonna interjected stories, took selfies with a couple of fans, and brought the fans up to speed with what has been happening in her life to date. I would not call the Big Noise her back-up band. These 4 men are extremely polished musicians (her husband is the drummer) and the music at times seemed to flow through Wynonna as she delivered the songs. After a short break, she came back and gave the fans a taste of what made her famous in her encore..."Grandpa" "Why Not Me" and "Give A Little Love" were followed by "Crossroads" and Sunshine of Your Love" to round out an unforgettable evening. Thank you Wynonna!
It was loud...Would have loved to have her sing more of her "classic" hits rather than all the new stuff. She has absolutely got a new sound and I feel like the country part of her songs is missing.
Wow! Wynonna has still got it! Her new music is great and she did a couple classics to satisfy the old school fans.
Wynonna's show was fantastic from the first song to the wonderful encore! I loved the small setting and the way that the audience was so into each and every thing she said and engaged throughout each song.
