WWE Live on Tour

WWE Live is the untelevised "house show" portion of professional wrestling. Don't go to a house show expecting to see something like a Raw or SmackDown Live event. There's no TV broadcast, which means there are no commercial breaks, which means the action runs bell to bell. Storylines don't advance during a WWE Live show — WWE saves that stuff for TV — but there's plenty of great wrestling to watch. The promotion's stars often use house shows as a testing ground for new moves and gimmicks.

Once upon a time, house shows were the centerpieces of the wrestling schedule and the TV shows existed mainly to promote the live events. All of that changed with the explosion of television wrestling in the 1990s.

Even without any significant plot developments, house shows have produced their share of drama over the years. Titles rarely change hands at live events, but at a 1994 show, Diesel snatched the WWF championship belt from Bob Backlund, and in 1992 The Mountie defeated Bret Harte to win the WWF Intercontinental Championship.

Wrestling fans will remember The Kliq's infamous MSG "Curtain Call," which happened during a live event in May 1996 at Madison Square Garden. The Kliq was a backstage group that included some of the most prominent and influential names in wrestling: Shawn Michaels, Scott Hall, Kevin Nash, Triple H and Sean Waltman. In April of that year, Hall and Nash had signed deals with a rival promotion, WCW. The MSG house event was their last contracted show for what was then known as WWF. Nash and Triple H were wrestling as heels that night, and Michaels and Hall were the good guys. After a steel cage match, all four wrestlers group-hugged in the ring, then faced the crowd and raised their arms together — good guys joining the heels to say goodbye. While the show wasn't televised, a couple of fans had taped footage on a camcorder that they'd smuggled into the arena. Word quickly got out that the Kliq had broken kayfabe — the all-important illusion that the rivalries between wrestlers are real — and thus a scandal was born.

    The shield

by kwade on 4/24/19TaxSlayer Center - Moline

The show was amazing. Would of been better if people kept there signs down so others can see. But the show was worth every penny I spent for the tickets. Never been disappointed yet at any of the events I have been to for wwe. The shield will be missed

Amazing Night for a last ride

    by R. K. on 4/24/19TaxSlayer Center - Moline

The show was all together pretty good. While i had tons of mixed emotions because i didnt wanna say goodbye to the shield i feel really blessed i got to be there. From what im told i even made the WWE NETWORK broadcast quite ofter so now ill get to relive that experience over and over again. I enjoyed the seats i had this time better than sitting front row a couple months ago. Seats were comfortable, leg room was fantastic, and my view was awesome. Plus i ended up sitting right next to the aisle the shield entered through. I would definitely make the 2.5 hr trip again in the future to see another show at this venue. Thanks ticketmaster :-)

Great show wish i could of been closer

    by L. S. on 4/24/19TaxSlayer Center - Moline

I think you should have cheaper seat for up close to the ring. Make it affordable for people that don't have a lot of money can watch in a closer seat.

    Great show

by K. C. on 2/13/19Allen County War Memorial Coliseum - Fort Wayne

The show was amazing and the number of stars that came out was an unexpected pleasant surprise. I liked the smaller venue (Expo Hall), as opposed to the large arena. The only drawback was there was only 1 restroom, vendor table and concession stand. This resulted in super long wait times - no fun!

    SO FUN!

by M. on 2/2/19Hertz Arena (formerly Germain Arena) - Estero

It was a great time for adults as well as children. It would be nice if video of what was happening could be shown at all times on the big screen.

    Exciting Time!

by Maria on 1/23/19CHI Health Center Omaha - Omaha

Very enjoyable experience. This was my first non-televised WWE Event, and I didn't know what to expect as far as show quality, production, entertainment, etc. My husband and I both had a wonderful time and would definitely attend an event like this in the future!

    this is awesome!

by Nick on 1/23/19CHI Health Center Omaha - Omaha

WWELive events are the way to go! I have attended multiple Monday Night Raws, Smackdowns and a couple WWELive shows and I have learned that personally I enjoy the WWELive events. Yes you might get on TV on Raw or Smackdown. But a WWELive event not being televised is a better experience. They are giving a custom show to just the people in the arena. They don't have to worry about time, playing to the cameras, and there are no pauses in the action for commercial breaks.

Loved the show. Floor seats aren’t worth the $$. We changed seats so we could see better and enjoyed the show to the max.

High energy, energetic crowd, bad PA system

by C. M. on 1/9/19Hertz Arena (formerly Germain Arena) - Estero

This was my first time attending a WWE live event and my first experience at the Germain/Hertz Arena. I have no complaints about the show itself. It was incredibly energetic, captivating, and moving throughout the show. The performers were given more freedom to interact with the crowd and it was entertaining! Despite this, the venue had seats designed for incredible small people (I’m 5’9 and found myself squeezed with the person next to me). In regards to sound, the PA sound system was lacking. Whenever a performer spoke, it was difficult to make out all the words. WWE and the Hertz arena should have had a sound check and should have fixed this issue before opening the doors.

    WWE Does It Again

by js wwe fan from Lehigh Acres on 1/9/19Hertz Arena (formerly Germain Arena) - Estero

The WWE Show was great as always...only a few minor complaints... 1. Why are there never any ice or lids for cold drinks in the concession stands? 2. Why can't we take still pictures? The matches were great...no real surprise that we didn't see a title change...we're too small a market for that but it could happen once in a while... It's good to see that we do get most of the major players here...the cheers for someone like John Cena or Finn Balor showing up bring the house down... While I say that I will probably return for most of the WWE shows held here in the future...I can't guarantee every one... Once again, great show!!
