WWE Live on Tour
WWE Live is the untelevised "house show" portion of professional wrestling. Don't go to a house show expecting to see something like a Raw or SmackDown Live event. There's no TV broadcast, which means there are no commercial breaks, which means the action runs bell to bell. Storylines don't advance during a WWE Live show — WWE saves that stuff for TV — but there's plenty of great wrestling to watch. The promotion's stars often use house shows as a testing ground for new moves and gimmicks.
Once upon a time, house shows were the centerpieces of the wrestling schedule and the TV shows existed mainly to promote the live events. All of that changed with the explosion of television wrestling in the 1990s.
Even without any significant plot developments, house shows have produced their share of drama over the years. Titles rarely change hands at live events, but at a 1994 show, Diesel snatched the WWF championship belt from Bob Backlund, and in 1992 The Mountie defeated Bret Harte to win the WWF Intercontinental Championship.
Wrestling fans will remember The Kliq's infamous MSG "Curtain Call," which happened during a live event in May 1996 at Madison Square Garden. The Kliq was a backstage group that included some of the most prominent and influential names in wrestling: Shawn Michaels, Scott Hall, Kevin Nash, Triple H and Sean Waltman. In April of that year, Hall and Nash had signed deals with a rival promotion, WCW. The MSG house event was their last contracted show for what was then known as WWF. Nash and Triple H were wrestling as heels that night, and Michaels and Hall were the good guys. After a steel cage match, all four wrestlers group-hugged in the ring, then faced the crowd and raised their arms together — good guys joining the heels to say goodbye. While the show wasn't televised, a couple of fans had taped footage on a camcorder that they'd smuggled into the arena. Word quickly got out that the Kliq had broken kayfabe — the all-important illusion that the rivalries between wrestlers are real — and thus a scandal was born.
My family and i had a great time. My son got his picture taken with Kofi Kingston after the show. Amazing seats
Seen a lot of great stars, more than we thought we would see.
Pretty fun had a blast friends had fun we all gad fun
We have been waiting so long for WWE to come back to Reno, Nevada!! They were here in 2017, but we didn't make that show. We had not seen a show since our son was age 4 (now age 13). We were so excited when I received the presale notification that the show was returning!! I immediately bought our tickets through the presale event and they arrived in the mail a short time later. Roman Reigns, Kofi Kingston, Shinsuke Nakamura, Randy Orton, Aleister Black...those are just a few of the AWESOME WWE Superstars that we were able to see live, up-close, and in person!! We thoroughly enjoyed the event and hope that WWE returns really soon!!
Thetr was a great amount of superstars that showed up. Matches were awesome. Kids already want to go to another. Only thing that would have made it better would have been ringside instead of row 5, and if it were the actual Smackdown Live show on tv. We will do again when they come back to town.
Great seats and tickets are easy to get with ticketmaster.
Fun show, nice surprises with wrestlers that not advertised on the card being at the show.
I will definitely return for future WWE events in the future. Keep them coming and i will be there.
Best seats in house kids loved it very interactive
Great time. Good building. Fun show. Good value except the rediculous fees the add the the tickets
Had a wonderful time n the sests were great... Just loved it....
The backstage is more than worth the money! Alexa Bliss was great with my daughters and she is a real sweetheart. The Miz is very entertaining. Front row seats are great, being right next to the action. One of my daughters caught a t shirt from Naomi and Natalia gave her cat ears to my other daughter. Becky Lynch came over and talked to them too! This was an awesome experience for my daughters and for me to share with them!
Seats were awesome, the show was awesome, and the staff/helpers at arena were professional and helpful.
The show was great! The ambiance was perfect and the ushers were very nice!! There wasn't really a story line, they could have used a little more action, but overall, it was a great night! Side Note: HUGE THANKS to the people working at the Ford Center. I managed to drop my phone beneath the cracks of the bleachers and the crew was very nice and worked diligently in getting it back for me. I was sure it was lost forever. Thank you to all involved, especially Adam (Never caught his last name).
The seats that i purchased where not what was on the seating chart. They where actually on the other end where i didnt want to sit.So i got screwed out if sitting on the end where the wrestlers come doen to he ring.
Seats were good, the superstars were great, one was Awesome, one was Phenomenal, and another one Burned it down! To sum it up when WWE comes back I will be at the show!
Tickets were easy to get seats were amazing staff helped point us where we needed love coming to ford center!!
Good time with the family and they enjoyed seeing the Shield.
I was impressed by how many big names were there! Especially because my tickets were so cheap and the seats were so good!
It was a nice experience. I came to get away from life for a few hours and I hadn't been to one of these in 9 years, but I was right back in the flow once it started. Its around the same size as the Liacouras center in Philly, so pretty decent size for this event.
