I was mainly going to see Jason Michael Carroll, but when they added Scotty McCreery that was icing on the cake. All of the acts were really good. I enjoyed the show a lot.

    Great show!

by cfarmer on 12/2/11DPAC - Durham Performing Arts Center - Durham

The show was really awesome. I thought JMC had the best pure stage performance, and Scotty put on a great show also. Jerrod Neimann was very good. Brantley Gilbert was amazing. Not a big fan of David Nail...seemed a little boring to me. I will definitely go back next year.

    Good Event, Worthy Cause

by CountryKibitzer on 12/2/11DPAC - Durham Performing Arts Center - Durham

Watching somewhat intimate acoustic performances by nationally recognized country artists while supporting a childrens hospital? What could be bad about that?

While I appreciate the DPAC is celebrating an milestone I could have done without the speech by the mayor pro-tem before the concert, just did not feel that was necessary or added anything to the event. All the performers were wonderful, wish they had all been given equal time to perform. They are all great and everyone has their favorite so it would be nice to hear from all of them for more than 4 songs that some were alloted.

JMC was better than expected. Jerrod Newmann was a good showman. David Nail could sing the phone book. He was excellant! Scotty is the reason we went. Fantasic as always. BG.....I'll pass next time.

    For the Kids

by BetBet on 12/2/11DPAC - Durham Performing Arts Center - Durham

It was a good show. The highlights were Jason Michael Carroll- who does so much for the NC childrens Hospital. He's a great entertainer. Scotty McCreery and Brantley Gilbert were awesome also. I really didn't care for the other 2 performers. It should have just been Jason Michael Carroll,Scotty McCreery & Brantley Gilbert. Jason should have had more play time since he is an ambassador for the Childrens Hospital.

    Concert OK

by OldCountryGuy on 12/2/11DPAC - Durham Performing Arts Center - Durham

Generally enjoyed the concert but sound system left a lot to be desired. Lot of feedback at times and hard to hear the words of the songs for several artists. Might have been OK if you already knew the words to the songs but I did not. Would have like to have heard more of the artists hit songs.

    Fantastic Event! Everyone was Amazing!

by DLBH1 on 12/2/11DPAC - Durham Performing Arts Center - Durham

The night was wonderful! Jason Michael Carroll was wonderful, and followed by hysterical Jerrod Nieman, then smooth David Nail. Of course Scotty MCreery had the young girls screaming, and then ending the night was a rockin' Brantley Gilbert. It was a wonderful night for my eyes and my ears and I'm definitely fans of all of them now! Thanks QDR/DPAC for hosting a wonderful event!
