    Awesome show

by Kalliope2010 on 11/29/12DPAC - Durham Performing Arts Center - Durham

For the price, you can't beat this event and the artists you get to see and hear! The venue is fantastic. Scotty and Lee Brice played fairly long sets...all their hits!!

It was so great to hear pure musical talent without all the back up vocals and band. We were able to connect with the performers.

A fantastic evening. Each of the artist were great. To be able to hear that much talent at one time in an acoustic setting was wonderful. Thank you DPAC and 947QDR for putting it together. And thank you to the artist for donating their time and talent.

    Awesome charity affair

Thanks to all the volunteer performers. Everyone was great. We esp liked Brantly Gilbert. I was not a fan before, just not familiar with him.

    Sound Man Blues!

by Snarfer on 12/5/11DPAC - Durham Performing Arts Center - Durham

The overall show was great! The vocals from every act except Scotty mcCreery were clear, and sounded better than on their CDS but Scotty needs a new soundman! We could not hear his vocals over the bass which was ridiculusly over the top as was the drumset.

    Loved the Simplicity

by Paralawyer00 on 12/5/11DPAC - Durham Performing Arts Center - Durham

My 11 year old daughter and I attended this event together. The tickets were a birthday present to her from her dad and I. We loved it! The venue was great (my first time there) and we loved seeing multiple artists with simple set-ups. We would definitely do something like this again.

by 1959wfnc on 12/3/11DPAC - Durham Performing Arts Center - Durham

Great show as being acoustic. Enjoyed all the entertainers, especially Jason Michael Carroll And Scotty McCreery.. I would attend this event every year and especially because of the money going to the UNC Children Hospital..

    Great Concert

by Qdrrocks on 12/2/11DPAC - Durham Performing Arts Center - Durham

QDR did an amazing job getting the variety of Country artists to participate in this event. They were all very entertaining and put on a good show. (The only negative comment would be the 2nd artist was very risque and there were a lot of kids in the audience (we had an 11 yr old with us).

Country for the Kids was a large success!

by kathaleenEE on 12/2/11DPAC - Durham Performing Arts Center - Durham

I loved the entire event! Jason Michael Carroll was very interactive with the crowd and did an amazing job. David Nail sang many of his new hits. Scotty, my favorite, didn't miss a note! He even sang some Christmas songs to get everyone in the Christmas spirit. Brantley Gilbert pushed through the pain of his broken ankle to put on a wonderful performance as well. The only person that I was not thrilled with was Jerrod Neiman. Jerrod looked like he had been drinking and every song he sang was about drinking. This show was supposed to be a family show, since it was meant for the kids. I was not impressed at all.
