My husband and I took our grandson to see the game and our seats were right behind the penelty box. My grandson got everyone around us to cheer and have fun. He kept telling us this was the best night he ever had. I would go again anytime.
i went to the worcestor sharks vs. providence bruins on march 20, 2010. i got the tickets for my boyfriend for valentines day. the game was actually on my 18th birthday. i have to say it was a great game. i had a lot of fun, as a kid i always went to ice cats games and i hadn't been to a hockey game in probably ten years and saturday night was one of the best ive been to. i enjoyed the intermissions, they were a lot of fun. there was a good atmosphere and good vibe in the whole place, everyone was having fun and chanting, and the teams did great.
Excellent game. Lots of hits and the game went quick.
The game between the Bears and the Sharks was very good. The Sharks played a great game. the referees could have called a major penalty against a Bears player for a very dangerous elbow to the head check and at the end of the game the refs should have held some discipline. Fighting is not attractive. In the Olympics they have none of the fighting nonsence I wish the leagues would do the same and leave hockey as a game of skill.
Going to a Sharks game is always fun. But last night's game was especially fun. Lots of fights and the team held an autograph session.
The game was great! Good time for my son's, age 6, first Hockey Game. Though the seats I purchased, "best available", were not the best at all. Sat right behind the visiting team bench, first row, closest you can get. Sounds exciting, huh? But the coaches and players are standing for most of the game. We strained our necks, looking up, to watched the game, on the big screen, most of the time. We were able to move to some empty seats and enjoy ourselves better, after all.
Had seats right behind the bench (Row EE) which I didn't realize that is where they were. It was an interesting view but was not able to watch alot of the hockey. It would have been helpful if I knew how the rink rows were set up, as I would not want to sit there again. I knew the seats were on center ice and the first section, but that was it.
Very fun, family friendly - exciting! Great game, my daughter ha da blast.
Was exciting. Just as good as going to a Bruins game, but half the cost.
AHL games are even more entertaining than NHL games! The fans are a bit quiet for my taste, but what's better than ice hockey filled with a cast of desperate players to prove their worth to the big leagues?
Great time- a lot of fun and exciting hockey action !! The seats were awesome and affordable.
Great game and great seats! It is great to watch all these potential NHL players in their element.
I have three children ages 9, 11, 13. It is school vacation week and this seemed like a fun activity. I bought 8 tickets and had my kids invite friends to come to this hockey game. No one wanted to go. We asked 15 other kids. We were able to find only two kids to join us so... We used 6 tickets and the other two tickets were unused. When we got to the DCU center to see the game, the arena was almost empty. About 30% of the seats were occupied. I like hockey but I guess it does not attract interest the way it once did.
Great family event. Great seats at great price and the kids love it,
This was my first game ever going to the Worcester Sharks. I was not impressed. Very poor fan base and no team spirit. I have never been to a hockey game were more than half the arena was empty seats. In my opinion I would have had more fun at a college hockey game. Ive been to many Providence bruins games and the team spirit and fan base was amazing. The bruins players were exciting and the fans made the games intense. My first experience at the Sharks was poor and I would not recommend to a friend.
Enjoyed a great hockey game in Worcester. Saw several ex BC Eagles competing in the game. Go Eagles!!
Last nights Heros night was a great way to honor our fallen 6 heros.
tired of the large crowds and outrageous prices on food and tickets? ahl games are the way to go....besides great ticket prices, there is simply not a bad seat in the dcu center. would highly recommend it for people looking for great convenient entertainment on a budget.
This was a very special game, with a ceremony for the Worcester 6. The families were there and a banner was raised to the rafters. I was very happy to be able to attend. There was also a performance by Apache Stone, the band of Michael Lombardi from Rescue Me. So it was great to have them. A lot of money was raised for the fire department, which was really wonderful to see.
