There was excitement on the ice all the time. Players on both sides were energetic and motivated to play well.

The Worcester Railers Are A Good time

    by mmaynard119 on 1/23/18DCU Center - Worcester

The team plays hard, if not greatly skilled, and management does many things to keep the fans interested and entertained.

Me and my family LOVE going to these games.. cheap tickets, fun atmosphere and of course great hockey! It's a fun night out and not overly expensive compared to going to the garden out in Boston. Intermisions have fun games to keep kids occupied. Fun family night overall

    Home Opener was Amazing!

    by Countrygent89 on 12/13/17DCU Center - Worcester

It's great to see professional hockey in Worcester again. I was a little unsure of what to expect from the ECHL as both the Ice Cats and Sharks were AHL teams, however I was pleasantly surprised with the talent of the players. I absolutely loved the fact that the team brought back the mascots from the Ice Cats (absolutely love scratch) and the Sharks to introduce the new mascot. I was amazed at the turnout as well, it's been a long time since I've seen the DCU center that full. Unfortunately they are not the best equipped to handle a crowd that large, but I think if the turnout remains large this year they will likely begin to work on some solutions for that. I intend to see the Railers many more times this year!

    HOCKEY IS BACK!!

    by BabySoft16 on 12/9/17DCU Center - Worcester

Its great to have hockey back in Worcester! The Railers, although they lost the game tonight they really put on a show, with a really good crowd in attendance they really put it all out there. The product on the ice is really great and the experience is just fun, affordable and already bought tickets for the next one. For reference bought these on black friday for 20$ per ticket (including fees) and sat third row from the glass. Where else can you do that? Had a great time and my gf is now hooked also. DCU center is top notch as with every show I go to. I live nearby so I walk but there are plenty of garages and lots all around downtown not to mention a bunch of great restaurants.

    Fun night out but

    by hockeyfan069 on 12/5/17DCU Center - Worcester

Nice night out with friends for dinner and watch a game. Beware though that now that someone invested in a Worcester team, that they are charging for parking at almost any available space/lot around the DCU Center. These parking lots also do not validate. Therefore after considering the cost of a night out dinner, hockey tickets and NON-VALIDATED PARKING FEES, this will be my last Railers game along with my 8 other friends. Just not worth it. Too bad owners and investors are greedy!!!!

Sunday at the Good old Hockey Game

by CharlesJS on 11/22/17DCU Center - Worcester

My dad and I were big fans of the IceCats and Sharks when they were still in Worcester, so we were excited to take in a Railers game. Very fun experience with a good involved crowd.

    Unforgettable Home Opener!!!

    by nmorang90 on 10/17/17DCU Center - Worcester

The positives....WHAT A GAME! The Railers were fantastic at their home opener and I can't wait to see what the rest of the season brings! I am extremely happy and feel fortunate that professional hockey is back in our area! The negatives....the venue, the DCU center, dropped the ball at this game. The Coors Light Zone ran out of beer and only had a single bartender serving the literally hundreds of people wanting beer. The other two bartenders were focused on the people inside which appeared to be something like a VIP area. My girlfriend and I left our seats after the end of the first period, did NOT get beer at all and still missed ten minutes of the second period by the time we got back. This was the case at every merchandise and food location. They were severely understaffed for the home opener. You would figure their sales data from other similar events would show them that they would have a spike in sales, and maybe they should put on more people. But no, hundreds were stuck in line waiting for concessions and were not able to enjoy the game because of this. Shame on the venue for allowing this to happen. However bad the venue was, this hockey team and their performance more than made up for the disappointment that we experienced. Go Railers!
