    Worth the trip!!

    by Jojo_In_Texas on 8/2/22PNC Arena - Raleigh

To be honest, I had never heard about the Women's Empowerment Conference. I was going because #DavidBanner was booked on one of the panels. I was there for the second half of the event. It was moving, it was positive and it was much needed for me personally. It was very organized. A lot of vendors, beautiful black people, entrepreneurs. I enjoyed myself! The staff at the arena were awesome! I will try and go next year!

    Enjoyed can change

by Barbie on 8/2/22PNC Arena - Raleigh

I enjoyed the show only thing I had floor seats and in order to go to second floor had to take stairs . Should make little more easier to go to venues to purchase merchandise. Elevator service was good overall. But that parking $30 per car was too pricey after paying for ticket nearly same price it was ridiculous

    ...

    by daija08 on 4/24/14womens empowerment - raleigh

the women's empowerment was okay this year, it wasn't phenomenal. the black men reveal was not as fulfilling as it could have been, the panel of men need a little more life. for example, the cast of best man holiday would be an amazing group of men to keep us entertained. the performances were slightly disappointing with the exception of ron isley. there should be some old school performers next year, frankie beverley and maze would be wonderful there. and for the uplifting gospel part of the show tamela mann, kirk frankilin would be a nice addition. the R&B portion should include Tyrese, Genuwine, and Tank. Also include some college step shows. Tyler Perry was a great speaker. someone as inspirational as him would be nice. the women's seat would be amazing with taraji p henson, and the cast from r&b divas.

    Wonderful Event

by pepperchyna on 1/18/14Women's Empowerment 2013 - Raleigh

(2013)This was my first time attending I didn't know what to expect. the event was beyond measure. I loved it! I didn't expect such a big spectator turn out. this year I plan to be there early!! I don't understand why someone said there was not food on every floor. each floor had various vendors. T.D. Jakes was great and so was the other performers. can't wait until this year

Women's Empowerment was Not Good at All

    by daija08 on 3/28/13Women's Empowerment - Nashville

This year's women's empowerment was terrible. they needed some better performers , some performers that would have got me off my feet. I think there needed to be a balance between the gospel and r&b music. They need to have food choices for ALL people, including diabetics or they need to allow people to bring their own food. you shouldn't rush the performers , off the stage, you paid, let them perform. Every floor should have food, vendors. that parking was ABSOLUTELY ridiculous. the lighting outside needs to be improved. To get into the arena was ridiculous too, took forever . hope next year is much better. for example, bring better performers. such as tyler perry. you need to broadcast and announce it better. JUST IMPROVE FOR NEXT YEAR. bye (:

    This was great!

by daddyh on 9/27/11RBC Center - Raleigh

The Men's Revealed Panel was great. I took my girlfriend for the entertainment because she is a HUGE fan of Musiq. Keyshia Cole also performed, and I did not know how humble she was. It was her first performance after having a baby. She stopped the music once, because she felt that she did not sound right. She re-did that song, which earned my respect a great deal. We did not see Steve Harvey and the gospel performers, however. The vendors were good, though.

    Women's Empowerment

    by j4jesus on 3/29/11RBC Center - Raleigh

It was my first time going and I really enjoyed the program. Steve Harvey was DYNAMITE. My favorite performers were Marvin Sapp of course and Hezikah Walker. I just wished we could have gotten in earlier to see the vendors because you can not do the vendors and the entertainment at the same time. Personally I paid to see the entertainment. Oh the Mens Revealed panel was great too. I hope they get Steve Harvey back.

I am really looking forward to womens empowerment 2011. I enjoyend myself along with my sistas last year. It's an event where women can just go and let their hair down and enjoy meeting singing celebs, bookwriters, keynote speakers, sponsors, and other women from all over.
