    Save your money

by PJBPBean on 12/12/17Circuit of The Americas - Austin

Your $16 entrance fee pays for just that - entrance. You may walk around and look at all the lights (they aren't even good) but everything else costs money. You know you're going to pay if you want food from a vendor, but the only other things at this event are carnival rides and a petting zoo, which all cost a lot of $. After we spent $48 on tickets, $20 on parking, we easily spent another $120 once inside the event. My kids had a great time, which is why I'm giving it 3 stars. You can have a lot of fun if you don't care about spending a ton of $ and spending a lot of time waiting in lines.

    LE

by LESanchez on 12/12/17Circuit of The Americas - Austin

Does not cater to all kid ages and the rides are not included in the ticket price. Petting zoo should have been included and or face painting. Also all the lines were at least 45 min long. The decorations were nice but Zilker Park has more to offer and seems more affordable...

    First Year Was OK

by Dunker26 on 12/12/17Circuit of The Americas - Austin

My family and I really did enjoy the event. I will have to say though that based on coverage and advertising, I had expected more. The ticket price is very low. However, although I always expect a mark on each product, I wasn't prepared for the food and activity costs. In the end, this was a very expensive evening. As examples: Activity - A very short train ride up and back along the track with no more than a few lights to look at (the track is below the area where most of the lights are) cost $3/person. Slightly higher for children than the Zilker park train which is a much longer trip with much more to look at. Food - An individual Pizza Hut pizza is $9.00. The lights were beautiful. Lots of seating for eating. Many propane heaters placed around the area for a quick warm up. The free children's activities (e.g., bubble snow, craft tent) were enough to keep the kiddos entertained for a while. All in all, it was a nice evening. I can't wait to see next year's event!

    Good but needs work

by Jenabcd on 12/12/17Circuit of The Americas - Austin

it was really fun, great family memories. However it was really expensive. For the price of the event (geared towards children) it would have been really nice to have real bathrooms with lights. It is a nightmare to get a 3 year old to go the bathroom in a pitch black port-a-potty.

    Fun but need more lights

by DDMouse on 12/12/17Circuit of The Americas - Austin

There are things to do for all ages. I just felt little let down with the lack of lights along the race track. I hope next year will have a lot more lights. My favorite part was the singing Christmas trees.

    Disappointment

by dmendo on 12/12/17Circuit of The Americas - Austin

The cost for this even far outways the few things there were to see. The walk of lights was uneventful. The tunnel of lights was just OK. I would not attend again next year.

    Untruthful employee, mislead information

by DannielleP on 12/12/17Circuit of The Americas - Austin

Traveled to Texas to spend some Christmas time cheer with the grandchildren and thought this event sounded fun. I agree there was a lot of thought put into this event and was pleased with the amount of activites available for the children. Unfortunately when purchasing the magic money band I was informed that all activity, food and drinks were only able to be purchased with the magic money band. So we loaded up on it to make sure wd had enough to carry us thru the night only to find out that the food trucks and drink stands were independently owned and accepted only cash/card. Not only do they charge you $2 for the reusable band, now we have a reusable magic money card with cash on it that is only be able to be used next time we go down there. Next time I will be sure to research events better, otherwise we have a good time.

    Winter Wonderland

by DeShayla on 12/11/17Circuit of The Americas - Austin

It was really nice, loved the heat lamps around. Hopefully there will be more next year. The food was okay, more adult options would've been nice. The only thing I would add would be snow. There was no Winter to match the wonderland. We live in Texas. Skating ring was beautiful, wish it was bigger.

    Disappointing Experince

by LESanchez on 12/11/17Winter Wonderland - Austin

I was not informed the petting zoo, face painting, or carnival rides were not included in the ticket purchase. Also, a child has to be a certain height to get on the rides. I had to wait inline about an hour to buy funnel cake. I thought they would cater to all age kids but it seemed only kids over 6?

    Okay but not for littles

by SGATX on 12/11/17Circuit of The Americas - Austin

Parking lot was dark, no clue why they have to rent spotlights instead of using lighting that’s already installed. Long muddy walk to entrance. Signage inside was vague and we never did find the train because they had moved it after they printed the map. Actual “circuit of lights” was a long walk from entrance. Too much walking for littles. Much of what is there is not included in admission price. Bottom line: a disappointment

    Needs improvement for the price

by Somebodydifferent on 12/11/17Circuit of The Americas - Austin

Glad I went - just to go and not be as crowded as Zilker. But, won't go again without significant changes. Prices are high. Displays are far apart. Displays along the track look store bought - didn't really have a human touch feel. The balloon float was just silly. It was down the hill, by the track. It only got about 10 feet off the ground - not even high enough to see over the top of the hill. That would be worth the money if it took you up high enough to look down on all the lights and events. In the end I'd say it's high priced 'something to do.' Good to get out of the house but don't expect a lot.

    Meh

by MMMM1111 on 12/11/17Circuit of The Americas - Austin

Rides were 3 to 5 dollars each, and we had to pay to ride with the kids (tiny rides I wouldn't otherwise ride). Disney characters were so sweet and really lit up the kids faces. There was no operable skating rink. We had drinks but didn't try the food, as you can expect with these types of events drinks were 4 to 8 dollars. The tunnel of lights was cute... the circuit of lights was incredibly disappointing. There were singing trees at the main entrance that were cute!

Cost way to much. Honestly would have been better to go to trail of lights.

    Avoid at all cost

by TrueReviewForU on 12/11/17Circuit of The Americas - Austin

Speaking of cost, they charge you for getting in, charge $20 to park in an area EMPTY LOT because no customers are going to this load of crap. They have an ice skating rink that doesn’t have ice. They have a $10-15 camel ride that lasts less than 30 seconds. Be sure to wear throw away shoes because you have to walk through mud sometimes. Food is terrible and the beers are $10. Once again - do not go here!

Underwhelming, but the kids enjoyed it.

by Zombiesmasher on 12/9/17COTA - Austin

The event was worth the $16 entry fee, however, things get pretty expensive once you get inside. The prices are consistent with concerts, football games, etc. Beer is 8 dollars, snack foods are about 7 to 10 dollars. Smaller rides were about 4 dollars, but some of them were double that, so we skipped the more expensive attractions. Lines thin out after 9, so, that is the best time to hit the rides. No problems with parking or the shuttle services. Staff working the event were very friendly. My kids ages 8 and 10 found a group of their friends, and had a fun time hanging out and running around. They also had fun in the free craft tent. Had my kids not found their friends, we would have not stayed very long, as there was not much to see and do. With the exception of the light tunnel, the lights were seriously underwhelming, overall did not seem like a class A attraction. Many neighborhoods streets in Austin have better lighting.

    Awesome

by Anonymous on 12/6/17Circuit of The Americas - Austin

The singing trees were awesome. The Disney character Rapunzul was enjoyed by my granddaughter who is 3 1/2 years old and our little cousin. Great job on the setup. Everyone needs to go see it. Thank you for all the hard work put into this great event.

    winter wonderland

by cmge on 12/6/17Circuit of The Americas - Austin

The entry fee is too high; I had my two granddaughers and they were both free this year. But I am not sure if I will go next year if I have to pay $32.00 just to get us in. I don't know what I got for it. Once you get in you have to pay for all rides and they were high. The lights were too far from where we were so not as nice as trail of lights. On positive side the best petting zoo I have ever seen.

    Long Lines For Everything

by Swift2017 on 12/6/17Circuit of The Americas - Austin

Cost was ok for admission but once you are in, you have to pay additional to do just about any activity then wait in very long lines. Even for a simple pretzel that you dont know if you'll like or if they will run out. Prices are off to the side away from the long line.

    Winter Wonderland at the Circuit

by detnioppasid on 12/5/17Circuit of The Americas - Austin

There were 3 adults and 1 child 3 years old, that attended the event on Dec 2. We were very excited about the experience., but there were disappointments. Most of the activities other than looking at the beautiful lights cost extra. Which would not have been a problem but you first are required to purchase a wrist band. I stood in line to purchase a wrist band for 45 minutes and the line never moved. Finally we gave up and decided to enjoy the lights. As we walked around and saw the other activities the lines were very long and for a 3 year old not an option. If we decide to go again we will have someone arrive before our party to get the wrist band and stand in the line for activities we are most interested.

    Not so Wonderland

by Michelleboo1 on 12/5/17Circuit of The Americas - Austin

Staff is friendly and helpful. But highly overpriced, light show was subpar,
