Buddy Holly, Ritchie Valens, and the Big Bopper--3 stars who lost their lives at such an early age, were never to realize their full potential. Buddy, leading the pack, became my all-time favorite rock n roller when I was 14. I loved the sound, the style--everything. Later, I learned more about him and his life in music. In his short career, not only did he sing and play guitar, but also wrote many of the songs he brought to notariety. Before the fatal crash, that took the 3 stars, Buddy became studio proficient, moving forward in musical talent, as well as demonstrating tremendous behind the scenes capability and innovation. Ritchie, at 17, was just beginning to shine, while the Bopper was an established song writer. In the Winter Dance Party, the 3 stars shine again, and in fabulous form. Ritchie(Ray) rocks! Bopper (Linwood), captivates the audience with zeal. And Buddy (John), plays the greatest homage to a true rock star. Their show is absolutely phenomenal! Long live rock & roll, and the 3 stars through this fabulous Winter Dance Party.
