It was a great event full of action-packed derby action!!

Every time I go, blast every single time! The game itself is fun to watch and the rules are very easy to understand, the halftime is always a blast and the music/crowd/atmosphere is always on point. Love it, can't wait to do it again!

I enjoyed the event; however, when I asked (on facebook) what teams would be playing, I was told that it would not be determined unitl the playoffs. I do hope that the misunderstood my question to be about who would be in the FINALS, not who would be playing in the playoffs. It was not clear that the Ivy King Cup Playoffs are JUST the Windy City Roller teams .. and not a larger regional event. However, even though it was not a regional event, I enjoyed seeing the Windy City Rollers bout against each other.

We took our grade school daughter and her friend and we all had a great time. The derby takes a while to figure out, but once you do it is a lot of fun to watch! Also, it is great for people watching - a very eclectic mix of spectators. Windy City Rollers bouts are a great entertainment and learning opportunity!

So much fun. Entertaining from start to finish and everyone I met was great. Can't wait to go back.

It was a very fun evening. Our first roller derby experience. We are planning on going again!

Yawn. Waste of cash and time. Small, flat track that was too small to generate any real skating speed. Dull, listless skaters with no competitive spirit. More attention paid to padding and weird names than to skating skills. As many referees as team skaters. Incoherent, babbling announcer. Wretched PA system. STUPID half-time show. In short, a pathetic shell of what real roller derby used to be. Kind of sad. Total waste of money. Well, maybe that's a little harsh - it is a great hook-up venue. I met another another bored fan and salvaged the evening.

What a wonderful experience. Everything was great with wonderful explanations of the game, beautiful spirit and great music. The people there are the best.

a good time was had by all. Particularly enjoyed the dancing coach -- dancing with crutches and a broken leg. Good family event, especially for daughters.

had a great time watching...can't wait to go back. if your looking for something out of the ordinary to view check out roller derby. loved the fact that there was also teamates walking throught the crowd asking if anyone had questions about how the game is played or anything pertaining to the game.

Fun night out. I expected a bit more action. I thought the track was banked, not flat. I would go back again.

Bought tickets for daughter and I for her birthday. We had fantastic VIP seats. Right on the track. The announcer and all of the teams were great. The ladies are more than welcoming when you walk in and through out the night. Love the aggressive skating. The whole night was fun. Will definitely go again.

This is worth the time and money. I would say its the best sporting event I've gone to all year. Oh yeah, and if you liked "Whip It" at all... this is a must!

This was my first time attending a Roller Derby and I had a really fun time! The derby action was intense, the emcees were fun and the music was great! I really liked that the program had information on Derby 101 and pictures of each of the team players and their creative names = ) I would definitely see another Derby!

The Windy City Rollers provided a full night of entertainment. The highlight of course was two exciting and entertaining roller derby bouts by the four talented and athletic Windy City Rollers teams. In addition, there were fantastic half time shows during the bouts, fun and games between bouts, and an enthusiastic, friendly, and fun crowd atmosphere. This was a great way to spend an evening!

I was concerned by all the hype of "whip-it" that roller derby might be a little too violent and sexy for my 3 year old son. It was just plain fun, with an audience of all ages who all looked like they were having a great time. I would recommend the sport itself to anyone...but TAKE THE TRAIN and eat/drink well beforehand because concessions and parking make it VERY EXPENSIVE, at least at the Pavillion. Just a warning.

In one word. BORING! This is not the roller derby we watched on TV as kids. Slow moving -- not a whole lot of action. All five of us agreed that it was so boring, we left half way through the 3rd of 4 boughts.

First timers. Brought my wife as a present and was hooked! Would definitely attend again!!!!

Great Event! I had never been to a rollar derby event before. Bring cash is you want to drink.
