Willie Nelson is one of the most successful country music singer-songwriters in history, releasing 68 studio albums and 10 live albums. He wrote his first song at the age of seven and joined his first band at ten, playing concerts as a lead singer and guitar player while still in high school. He spent the ‘50s and ‘60s writing songs for established acts such as Ray Price and Patsy Cline, as well as releasing a string of albums on Liberty and RCA beginning with his debut …And Then I Wrote in 1962. In 1973, he signed to Atlantic Records and put out Shotgun Willie, which veered into outlaw country, a stark contrast from the mainstream Nashville sound and clean-cut country artists of the era. 1975’s Red Headed Stranger and 1978’s Stardust followed on Columbia Records, both garnering commercial and critical success. The ‘80s saw the release of No. 1 albums Honeysuckle Rose, Somewhere Over The Rainbow, Always on My Mind, and The Promiseland, as well as Nelson joining Johnny Cash, Waylon Jennings, and Kris Kristofferson in the country supergroup The Highwaymen, touring and releasing three studio albums between 1985 and 1995. Nelson continues to release a new album almost every year and delight ticket buyers in live shows to this day.

It took one hour before Willie got on, but once he was on, he was great! Crazy that a 90 year old man can still sing that great!
Breese Stevens Field is a fantastic outdoor venue. And it was perfect for another Willie Nelson & Family show. Ryan Larkins, who opened, was great and Willie absolutely did not disappoint. He did 21 songs, with little fanfare, mixing older and newer. For 91 years old, he sounded great and you could see the joy making music brings him.
Breese Stevens Field is an amazing venue. Plenty of restrooms, easy to navigate all amenities, multiple food and drink options, easy to find seats, helpful staff, and able to get out of stadium within 10 minutes of show ending. Online ticket process was easy to buy and transfer to the people we went with. Willie Nelson was amazing, played for an hour, Ryan Larkins as the opener was great too, definitely a rising star.
My wife and I enjoyed the concert. While Willie is definitely not in his prime, he still put on a good, but short show. The most enjoyable part of the event was seeing how much love the fans showed for Willie, singing along with the songs and generally enjoying themselves. Willie's band was great and provided wonderful support for him. I especially enjoyed the harmonica player--he held the music together with bluesy riffs that really made the show. It was a lot of money for a pretty short (one hour) show, but since Willie is 91 years old, there won't be many more opportunities to hear him sing songs like "I Woke Up Not Dead Again Today"in the future. Definitely worth the money.
Concert was done by 8:30, volume turned down so low hard to hear 1/2 way back from stage. Disappointed in the show but fun to see the crowd that comes out for Willie!
Terrible! Willie could not be heard in the GA area, where several thousand people stood.
Great show from the opening act throughout the entire show. Most older performers that I have seen, do more talking than singing but not Willie! One hit after another and you could still see the twinkle in his eyes as he truly appears to enjoy his time on stage. His band was also amazing. So glad to have heard him again.
Willie Nelson is a legend and I would never want to miss him in concert. Age is taking its toll on him but he still delivers a committed professional performance. I will be a fan forever. The venue was less than ideal, and the crowd control near the stage was inadequate. Ticket holders who had paid a hefty premium for their seats could not see through the throngs, who created something of a mosh pit in front. While I have no objection to allowing people to run up to catch a photo, there were people who parked themselves at the rail and were completely inconsiderate of people in the seats. I fault lax security for permitting this. There were half-hearted attempts to clear the rail and the center aisle but they were too infrequent to be effective.
Willie doesn't really sing anymore. He just speaks the lyrics of the songs
Love the Pinewood Bowl venue - and LOVE THE LIVING LEGEND, ONE AND ONLY, WILLIE NELSON!
Awesome at any age! Amazing at 91! He puts on a great show! And his opening band rocks!
Willie's performance was amazing considering his age. Once in a lifetime experience.
Willie was great but a 1 hour concert was way too short. He still sounds great and his guitar playing was amazing!
The concert was great, very enjoyable, and the actual Pinewood Bowl is a great place to listen to a musical performance. At 91 Willie still puts on a good show! However, the Pinewood Bowl is located in a city park that only has two entrances/exits. If you attend a show there plan on slow motor vehicle travel for entering and exiting.
Totally enjoyed the show . The opening acts were great. Drew Holcomb and the Neighbors were super,
It is Willy Nelson..... nothing more to say. Other than that the venue was amazing 🤩
Started off thinking this is terrible then it turned out to be ok.
I didn’t expect Willie to sing well, he is 91. But his guitar playing, lack of making any kind of connection with the audience, and only an hour long performance was highly disappointing. If he can’t put on a better show than that he should not be touring. Thanks for all the music you have made over the year, Willie, but it’s time for you to step down.
Willie never disappoints - he has been my hero forever and I’m so glad the weather cooperated and he could sing his heart out! The Drew Holcomb band was great as well
