The music and energy was great. Would love for a 90s show to happen! I really enjoyed it overall

The show started on time. It was paced well. All the acts were great!

My wife and i had a great time at the concert. Felt like would've been bigger in a truer hip hop community (not quite sure Nashville "got" it). Doug E. Fresh is still as great as he was 30 years ago. Big Daddy Kane and Whodini were also amazing, and Hi-Five still has it even if they've outgrown their biggest hits. The venue itself was the only downside. Was scaled down for the ticket sales which gave it a nice club feel... but Municipal Auditorium is in massive need of an upgrade.

I am very happy that I was able to make this concert it took me back to a time when music was fun and singing along was not as horrible. Family's rocked out to these tunes together. Timeless songs that meant something and it was great to be a part of that era and see the artists still able to perfect their craft.

This was a good show! Doug E Fresh & Big Daddy Kane were awesome. Slick Rick was great. Al B Sure worked the ladies in the crowd and even took pictures with fans outside after the concert. Cherelle had the flu but still sounded great. She looked amazing. I've always been a huge Hi Five fan & wondered what it would be like without Tony Thompson. They did a really good job. The singer who replaced him needs to get in shape though. He stuck out like a sore thumb.

The Preform have just gotten to old to be on Stage. They can no Longer Sing and performance was very short.

Every artist did their Thang , lasted 3+ hours. Would go see again

Friday, February 10th, I attended the Back 2 the 80's concert at DAR in Washington, DC. The concert started on time. First up, Cherrell, she was ok. Then, Chubb Rock did a great job. Chubb Rock only had two hits back in the day, so most of his performance was hyping the crowd with old school Rap. Then, it was Hi-Five, their performance was not great. Watch them on Unsung. I think Al B. Sure performed next. He has put on a lot of weight; however, he stated that he lost weight for the tour. Then, it was BIG DADDY KANE!! HE DID A GREAT JOB. HE LOOKED GOOD AND HIS PERFORMANCE WAS ON POINT. WHODINI WAS GREAT TOO! THOSE GUYS ARE OLDER NOW, BUT THEY DID THEIR THING!!! WHAT CAN YOU SAY ABOUT DOUGIE AND SLICK RICK? DOUGIE LOOKS LIKE HE WILL NEVER AGE. DOUGIE DID HIS THING!!

I was on my feet most of the show because the music and performances were awesome. Big Daddy Kane stole the show with his energy and exceptional rapping skills. Doug E Fresh hasn't aged and still knows how to rock the house.

Cherelle who is an R&B artist deserved to have an actual band performing with her and R&B group High Five too. That would've made things a lot better but no Band meant lip syncing. Everyone performed well but we thought we were going to see some musicians perform too.

Fun big daddy Kane was great whodini killed ! And of course Doug e fresh was amazing and stole the show....high five al b sure just ok

The concert was fantastic from beginning to end, there was never a dull moment. Every performance was a great one! When this concert comes to a town near you...GO Big Daddy Kane, Whoodini and Doug.e.Fresh were exceptional... you will love the show.

With the decline of real hip-hop music in today's music scene it was refreshing to see and hear some legends still be able to create magic on stage. The show was awesome. I have only minor negative comments. I hope all promoters and concert arrangers read this. There is an art to building a quality show, and today's promoters fail to realize how to build a show. The order of the show was bad. They should have opened with Hi-5 because bringing them on after Chubb Rock rip the stage up and had the crowed in a frenzied party mood was awful. They brought the vibe way down, they were on the fringe of being booed.They have to learn to layer a show so that it continually builds to a fantastic peak of leaving the crowd wanting more.

Really bad sound quality. Singer were okay, but apparently they didn't rehearse carefully.

I really enjoyed the show and all the entertainers. My favorite was Doug E Fresh. Wow, he really know's how to do the human beat box!

If you have the opportunity to go do not miss this show. It is well worth the price of admission. They jammed the entire concert. I miss this type of music. I would go again. This is one I would of paid to have a fan/vip experience!!!!!

There is nothing else that I can say but FANTASTIC! My husband and I had a great time listening to all of the music and watching each one of the performers. I would highly recommend!

This was an awesome show. A must see show. Dougherty Fresh is still doing it real big.

We had a blast, the concert was great and we were entertained the entire time. Brought back old high school memories. I would definitely recommend this concert to others!!!

My sisters and I had a wonderful time. Can't wait until the next concert.
