Country rockers Whiskey Myers have been steadily climbing the charts ever since their 2008 debut, proving that their days of playing smaller venues are numbered. BACKGROUND SNAPSHOT:
Hailing from Texas, the five members of Whiskey Myers made their full-length debut in 2008 with Road of Life. Since then they've steadfastly made their way up the country charts, landing at No. 26 in 2011 with Firewater and No. 10 in 2014 with Early Morning Snakes. As their commercial success has grown so has their performance prowess, and their rocking live shows have earned them a reputation as a consummate live act. Following the release of wildly popular videos for "Virginia" and "Home" in 2013, the band are polished and ready to rock ticket buyers' worlds on their upcoming tour dates.
Can't go wrong with seeing these guys live. I've seen 'em three times already, and I'll always try to catch them every time they come through the area. Easily some of the best live music you can experience nowadays.

Fantastic show! they were in high form. John Jeffers was out of this world with his slide guitar. The new songs were great can't wait for the album release!!!
This is my second time seeing whiskey Myers and they did not disappoint. Texas country for life.
Awesome show -- band was great again. Saw them here in March and again 10-2-15 cant wait til they come back. Keep booking them HOB and their fans will keep selling out their shows. And yes, we all know the words and Cody always lets us sing.
Whiskey Myers delivered an awesome show once they took the stage. The show was advertised to start at 9:00 pm. After 2 opening acts, Whiskey Myers came onstage at 11:15 pm. Two opening acts is too many for this venue since you are standing the entire time. Whiskey Myers show was about 1-1/2 hours.
Our first time to visit "Dallas" House of Blues. We went to see these local Texas boys that we met in 2012 when they opened for 38 Special. When we heard their music we were smitten forever. They rocked the House. We had comfortable seats in the balcony down low..... thank you Citibank. After party not so good, should have just left the building. Thanks to a previous review that recommended Valet parking it was the way to park. Valets did a great job for a great price.
First of all, Kaleo (who opened for Whiskey Myers) was extremely impressive. Who knew that Iceland could produce an artist that was deeply rooted in "Southern Blues." Whiskey Myers played a perfect mix of old and new songs and did not shy away from their reputation as entertaining live performers. They rocked.
I took a friend that had never heard of Whiskey Myers. He had never been to the HOB either. He and I both were impressed with the show. HOB never disappoints with any show. Great venue, but both bands rocked it! next time WM is in town, make sure you catch the show!
This band is clearly headed for greatness....I think they are the greatest thing that has happened to music in the past 30 years.....Not quite country, not total rock, they are clearly in a genre that can't be defined.....I have seen them in concert close to 10 times now, and will go again and again whenever they are in town.....

Great show and crowd, surprised they played a small venue. Probably last time that will happen.
These guys are great musicians. I've seen them perform at least three times and can't wait for the next time. However, I'd prefer the next time not be in a country music setting.
