About

Wheeler Walker Jr. is the alter ego of comedian Ben Hoffman. The comedian, who also had his own Comedy Central series titled The Ben Show, released his “bro country” parody Redneck Shit in February 2016. The album reached No. 1 on both Billboard’s Comedy Albums chart and No. 9 on the Top Country Albums chart. After the release of Redneck Shit, Hoffman produced three more albums under his Walker Jr. moniker and toured with Kid Rock and Brantley Gilbert on 2018’s Red Blooded Rock N Roll Redneck Extravaganza Tour.

    A night of laughter

    The venue (Uptown Theater) is beautiful and well set up. The performance of Wheeler was right on the money. The music was studio quality which attests to a great deal of talent on that stage. All in all the evening was enjoyable and would highly recommend both the venue and the artist

    Let’s face it. Country music has been in the toilet for some time. Wheeler brings back some outlaw tone with great comedy. A great blend of raw country and comedy. Greta to see him at the Ryman, added to the experience as a whole!
