West Love, born Kelsie Davis, is a soul and R&B artist who grew up singing in church in Valdosta, Georgia. After winning a local singing contest, she appeared on Rickey Smiley’s Comedy & Karaoke show where she covered songs by Betty Wright and The Staple Singers. That influence can be heard on her 2021 Omar Cunningham collaboration “Put it On Me,” her most successful single to date. Before that, in 2018 she partnered with Southern soul singer-songwriter Stan Butler on “He’s Doing That Donald Trump.” In 2023 she collaborated with Butler on his “Down in the Kuntry” single. Other popular releases by West Love include “I’m a Good Woman” (2021), “Work It” and “The Mac” with King George (2022), and “Nobody” and “Swing Out” (2024).

I love West Love and wish I could see her in Myrtle Beach for my 71st birthday celebration on 08/24/24.My birthday is not until September 6, 2024 but my children are celebrating my birthday with my grandson ‘s mother in. law, his wife and baby which was fine by me since we are all family,That would truly be icing to the cake,
