This was a fun event to go to if you listen to the podcast. Took a friend who had no knowledge and he said he had a good time!
If you get a chance, go see a Night Vale show. You'll love it, if you like a surreal mix of comedy and horror.
My daughters and I enjoyed the show. This is the third Night Vale live show I've seen. I liked the musical guest at this show the best of all I've attended. The plot was entertaining, and the actors are very talented. I will go again the next time they tour LA. There was one negative aspect..the seating in the Regent (fold up chairs) was extremely uncomfortable. At first, I did not think I'd be able to sit 15 minutes, but I eventually grew numb. I just thought this was due to my age, but my 24 year old daughter brought up the same issue, and she experienced pain worse than I did. Night Vale producers need to consider this; it is exceptionally hard to get information in advance about seating arrangements. Plus I doubt the theater would be honest about uncomfortable seating. Before I buy tickets next time, I'd like to know that seating will not be painful.
So much fun to see live, venue wise Rialto is great just super cramped when they put seats down very claustrophobic but still a good venue
Bought tickets for myself and a friend for his birthday gift, we both loved the show. We want Welcome to Night Vale to come back next tour!

I have only been a fan of the podcast the show is based on for a couple months and I’ve already caught up to 11 years of content. Seeing Cecil and the citizens of Night Vale on stage is a whole other experience. Cecil already sounds very animated, but seeing him move on stage just adds to the comedy. Add to that the series of gags and elements that can only be done live on stage, it is a truly unique Night Vale experience and I can’t wait for the next show!
The folks who work on the podcast really did a wonderful job bringing the show to a live stage. It was a lot of fun and even a little thought-provoking. The weather (musical performance) was great and we got to see a handful of other songs from the artist as well. The live cast was a ton of fun and really shined on the stage. I would definitely go again if I had the chance.
It was awesome. I didn’t know what to expect from a live show of a podcast, but they really made sure that everyone had a great time. Looking for ward to them touring again!
Very nice theater. Clean. Decor is old and ornate. Small. No parking. Hard to get to concessions and bathroom is in the basement. Reasonable cost. Really nice place to see a show.
My partner and I both have enjoyed this show for years and we finally got to see it together. The crew was amazing and I’m looking forward to my next WTNV live show. He and I ended the night by proposing to each other after the show. It set the perfect mood and we both surprised each other. The show was great tho if ppl read this you should listen to WTNV.
Having only heard a few episodes of the podcast (my husband is a HUGE fan), I wasn't sure what to expect. I was prepared to just be kind of lost but I was thrilled with how inclusive it was of those of us who might not have been super fans (BEFORE the show). The show was great, funny, quirky, smart, and just very enjoyable. I would like to add that the musical guest - Juliana Fitch - was VERY good as well. Her album was coming out the day we saw the show - and I will be checking it out. She is very talented as both a songwriter and a singer. I look forward to hearing more of her! I absolutely would recommend Welcome to Night Vale to anyone and everyone who enjoys quirky humor. It was well worth the 2.5 hours we drove to see the show!!
Show was great. Juliana Finch played music from her latest album, all of which was enjoyable. Picked up a copy after the show to continue to listen to for long car trips. The writing was of the quality I know and love from Nightvale. The Attic had a message and theme that was relatable, and left us with thoughts and emotions we talked about all the way home.
I had no clue what I was going into with some friends. Boy am I glad I went though! It was an absolute blast and all the characters were so into it, upbeat, and hilarious.
This ticket was amazingly easy to purchase and use at the Barrymore. The theater was small and clean. Very nice. Old seating but comfortable. Sound was excellent and temp inside was just perfect. Yes. Parking is tough but doable few block walk.
Who needs a church sermon when you can see welcome to nightvale live
WTNV continues to be excellent in their live shows to make them special and different, and something that is best seen in person. I love the way they interact with the audience and still keep to their framework. My only criticism is the venue in Boston where the tables up front have the chairs facing each other and not the stage. This means you have to shift and swivel and sit uncomfortably if you want to see the show from up close.
This show was absolutely the best night of my life. I love the podcast and I LOVE Mal Blum, who I didn’t know was going to be performing. I got to meet Mal after the show and he was amazing and signed something for me!
The Night Vale shows are always a wonderful time. The shows are funny, engaging, and surprisingly heartfelt.
