Silly and annoying context. Not NEARLY enough Queen music.

by Tuggs on 11/29/19The Louisville Palace presented by Cricket Wireless - Louisville

The very ending they finally played Bohemian Rhapsody. Loud screeching voices from one man (queens guy) and several ladies. Music louder than singers so lyrics missed and some hits unrecognizable at first. Annoying at worst and mediocre at best. Freddy would have been appalled!

    Interesting

by Bcarl on 11/29/19The Louisville Palace presented by Cricket Wireless - Louisville

This show was not at all what we were expecting. The acting was at best mediocre. The concept was very odd. We were expecting a tribute to Queen, but instead got a futuristic oddity. There needed to be more music from Queen and less odd storyline.

    Very disappointing

by Lahrensbrown on 11/29/19The Louisville Palace presented by Cricket Wireless - Louisville

This show had so much potential but was such a disappointment. First, the good: the stage band played wonderfully. Then the bad: everything else. The show’s sound quality was terrible - you couldn’t hear singers over the band and had no idea what they were saying. The storyline couldn’t be followed as only a few lines could be heard.

First time here was a positive experience.

by DonnaZ on 11/27/19Old National Centre - Indianapolis

I had never been here, so wasn’t sure what to expect. The theater was easy to find and parking was just across the street. I thoroughly enjoyed the show. I will be looking for other performances at this venue.

Loved the story and the songs. Had a great time.

by Granny on 11/26/19Old National Centre - Indianapolis

I loved it except the band, especially the bass overwhelmed the vocals and it was hard to hear the singers, otherwise, this would have been 5 stars. As long as you knew all the songs, you didn't have a problem, but if this was your first time hearing Queen music, you would not have heard the words. Loved the story. Can't get enough Queen.

    Not what. Expected

by Randy F on 11/26/19Old National Centre - Indianapolis

After seeing the movie Bohemian Rhapsody, I wanted to see this show. My expectation was to enjoy Queen’s music. This ended up being a comedy about the Queen’s era. I thoroughly enjoyed the last ten minutes of the show, when the ensemble sang several Queen songs. My review is more based on my expectation that the performance.

    Almost Painful

by Lexem on 11/25/19Hulu Theater at Madison Square Garden - New York

With no offense to the cast, this play was barely watchable. The acting and singing were fine, but the story line was so far fetched and not well done. The costumes were so unimpressive and the scenery no better. We came looking to rock out to some Queen music, and left at intermission despite the $134.00 we paid per ticket. We were not the only ones leaving - there was a line to get out the door. The ushers confirmed that was how the entire weekend went. Not even sure how this show hasn't gone out of business yet.

    Excellent show!

by AmyLou on 11/25/19Old National Centre - Indianapolis

Simply a fantastic amalgamation of Queens music set in a post-music, post-apocalyptic world. Highly entertaining, and very funny! Everyone was up out of their seats by the time the show was over singing right along with the cast! Give it a go! You can't go wrong with this one!

    Awesomeness

by Bear on 11/25/19Old National Centre - Indianapolis

I have been wanting and waiting forever to see this and finally got the chance. One of the best birthday presents I ever received. Absolutely fantastic and would love to see it again and bring my nephew.

Not at all what was advertised

by Giggles on 11/25/19Hulu Theater at Madison Square Garden - New York

Unfortunately even though some of the actors were incredible singers, the false advertisement of this show had many people walk out and many of those that stayed were disappointed. Extremely upset with the advertisements for this show. Such a disappointment

    I was Rocked

by SueG on 11/24/19Old National Centre - Indianapolis

Pleasantly surprised by the show and the talent. I wasn’t sure what to expect after I read about the storyline, but I was definitely entertained and thoroughly enjoyed it. I would recommend it to my friends.

    Terrible sound quality

    by S. M. on 11/24/19Old National Centre - Indianapolis

Neither my friend or I could hear and understand the singers. The bass was so heavy from the band that was all you could hear. Even when the actors were speaking it was difficult to understand them, the women especially were very screechy. We had been to a high school performance the week before of another production and it was 10 times better than this. If I could give negative rating I would. Also the bathroom situation at the Murat is ridiculous.

The 1st half of the show was awful.

by Disappointed on 11/24/19Old National Centre - Indianapolis

We almost left at intermission. The 2nd half was much better but still not that great. They couldn't get the sound right. Sometimes you couldn't hear the singers because the music was too loud.

    Great show, theater needs improvement

by Queen fan on 11/24/19Old National Centre - Indianapolis

This musical was engaging, funny and very fun to attend! Music(band) was great. Actors voices were powerful and haunting. The theater was hot and the floors sticky. They need to attend to cleanliness and also temperature control. Parking was expensive and you could not pay cash- had to use credit card. If they took cash, it would have been quicker.

    We will rock -DID

by Glaze on 11/24/19Old National Centre - Indianapolis

Great show. All the lead singers were fantastic! So was everyone else. Band was great! The backgrounds were very interesting. Whole show was very fun and audience was included in several parts of the show. Only downfall was bass was a little too loud in several skits and tended to drown out singers. Highly recommended this production!!

    Not what I expected

by Lalango on 11/24/19Old National Centre - Indianapolis

I guess I wasn't sure what to expect but the premise of the play was pretty far fetched and the band was so loud that you couldn't hear the singing. I expected more from a Broadway Across America production and wish I would have skipped this one. Two people in front of us actually left after about 30 minutes.

Great experience. Took a Friend for her Birthday.

by Pam on 11/24/19Old National Centre - Indianapolis

The show was high-quality! Singing, dancing and energy was of Broadway standards! Loved it. Of course the music of Freddy Mercury and Queen is outstanding and genius.
