the event was really great. I enjoyed the entertainment, amusements, and the matches. However, I could not believe how close the seats were. That was very uncomfortable to have to almost sit in a stranger's lap.
I am a serious Venus fan. It was awesome seeing Venus in person and she looks exactly like I knew she would. She's long, slender, athletic, graceful, brown, and lovely. And what can you say about those mile long legs? I wish I had them. Oh, I enjoyed the other pros also. And, I have a new found respect for Leander Paes. The new venue is perfect. It eliminates transportation and restaurant problems.
Great venue; great tennis - complete with last minute heroics by Serena to cement the win for the Kastles! Added bonus seeing the First Lady and First Daughters, who seemed to be having a relaxed, fun evening out.
I really enjoyed the event, and even more watching Serena play. My daughter plays tennis and was so looking forward to seeing her. We were disappointed that there was no opportunity for a photo with her (yes, I am aware of how many children were there). The seating could have been a little more thought out, seats to close, not enough room between numbers. Overall, the event was great, I would definetly see again and recommend.
I liked all that came with seeing Serena Williams and the host of other notables that attended, with the most notable being the first family. The price of food and drink was a bit outrageous...$4 for a 16oz bottle of water was ridiculous! I expect the prices to be inflated when I attend such events, but $12 for three bottles of water blew me away when I know I can get a whole case of 24 for about $4! The food was also inflated beyond what is customary for such an event and spending over $50 for sub par food left me a little tilted about the experience. That was our first time attending a Kastles match and I don't know if I would go again other than to see the greats. If I did I would definitely dine prior to instead of waiting until, and I would bite the bullet to get better seats. I attended the matches on 16th street all the time and I just remember it being a better experience so while this event was nice, it left me longing for more in terms of my overall experience. Oh yeah, and that whole autograph line thing was a bit of a joke because the players weren't even interacting with the kids, but rather chatting amongst themselves as they scribbled what was supposed to be their signatures! At the very least they should take the time to make eye contact and acknowledge the kids being there.
The tennis tournament held at the Wharf for the Washington Kastles is an intimate, fun, and lively experience. The play is outstanding, and the setting couldn't be better. What was most surprising was the quality and freshness of the food that was offered for sale. All in all, I would highly recommend taking your special someone (or even the family) out to the Wharf to see quality tennis played under the stars.
New venue is spectacular! Nice breeze off the water - can see action from all seats Bleacher seats not for those over 40 lbs or with a normal butt - they are metal hard and you are sitting on top of each other. Bring a cushion. Or hit the lottery and buy up next year. Great tennis. This is my third year and I plan on many more.
We had a great time! In addition to enjoying watching Serena play, it was real treat to also see the First Lady and the girls at the game as well!
It was a beautiful evening watching great tennis. Loved watching Serena and all the players play. And even saw Michelle Obama and her daughters. What a treat. The white peach sangrias were amazing too. Highly recommend going to watch the Washington Kastles.
Happy to see Serena. Greatly enjoyed the star and all the players. I like the format. Supplementary Entertainment was appropriate and enjoyable -- opty for fans to showcase although not my interest. Music was great. Waterfront venue is excellent. Food looked good although I did not partake. Loved the multi-generational, multiracial, multi-cultural attendees. The entrance was not quite a gate. Help the workers out; work on that

I purchased these tickets as a surprise for my daughter Serena's birthday!! Imagine our surprise when we looked over to the Dream seats and saw Mrs. Obama and her girls!! Serena Williams did not fail in her ability to show us the reason why she is one of the elite tennis players!!! I would definitely attend another event at Kastle Stadium. The only draw back is the parking. A few extra dollars should be invested in the parking garages.
All five sets were won by the Kastles. Our seats were up high which gave us a breeze on a hot, humid night.
Super night for tennis w/ cooling breezes off the Potomac, great crowd and SERENA! DC at its finest with former Major Fenty on side and Michelle and the girls representing the First Family on the other WOW.
I had a great time at the match. The Kastles smashed their opponents and the stadium is really nice. I like the fact that it is located on the water. The view was aesthetically pleasing and the cool breeze felt great. There isn't a bad seat in the entire stadium.
There are no bad seats at the Washington Kastles stadium. It's a small stadium. I recommend the last row of seats so you can rest your back on the railing. And everyone gets a free Kastle T-shirt that is placed at your seat. Be sure to pick up your free T-shirt before someone else does. The matches ran long, I left at 10:30 pm and a match was still in progress.

I attended this match and it did not disappoint. The venue was great, wonderful seats and I would have attended tonight's match with Serena if I didn't have to travel up Interstate 95. The traffic going home on Tuesday evening was mind boggling.
I love to watch tennis and saw some excellent play. Seating - very tight quarters for chair-back seating. I felt like I was on an flight. It is a small place overall so at least you were close to the action. If you have a table you're in a great location. I can't afford one unfortunately. Drinks - $4 for a usual .99 bottle of water, $5 for a large shaved ice. As Roger would say " How does that make you feel?" I didn't even bother with the food. Bathrooms - they were superb.
