Washington Commanders at Commanders Field
Located in Summerfield, Maryland, five miles east of Washington, D.C., Commanders Field opened in 1997 as Jack Kent Cooke Stadium. FedEx purchased the naming rights for the stadium in 1999, and the building was known as FedExField until 2024. Commanders Field has a capacity of 67,717 for Commanders games. The stadium features five levels of seating, including the Bobby Mitchell Level, Joe Gibbs Club Level and Pete Rozelle Upper Level — all named after Pro Football Hall of Famers who made an impact on the Commanders’ career.
The Commanders were also the first NFL team to have a marching band starting in 1937. To this day, the Commanders Marching Band is one of only two professional football marching bands, and continues to entertain fans during pre-game and halftime performances.

More early information and directional signs needed. Gates; escalator Some helpers provided incorrect info Some food lines were slow- only 1 person serving Burger was refrigerator temp cold Enjoyed the practice Drinks/water were cold and good Wings, ice cream, beef/polenta, & crab ball were great! Catfish good if warm.
The food tasting options were amazing. The drills were on point and a great idea for those not able to travel to training camp. The fireworks display was the best ever. Pepsi need to do the White House display. I was a little disappointed in the dance team entertainment, was expecting a little more. Overall it was a wonderful night under the lights. Loved it!!!
The practice was great. The fireworks were spectacular!!!
It was an lovely evening weather wise, but I thought that there would be some type of game even limited. And it was not. The food and drink prices are RIDICULOUSLY HIGH.!!! It’s not worth the ticket price. The seat selection was very good. There should be some type of discount for Hosptial health care workers at each game. Just a thought
I Love The Stadium overall it's nothing wrong with it to me certain things could be updated but other than that i would come to every game if I can Go Washington.💯💪👑
I believe any seat in that stadium is a great view.
I am a 36 year Redskins fan from Detroit. A childhood friend lives in D.C. so naturally we got a chance to make it weekend like old time sake. Last time I been to a Redskins game was in RFK Stadium in 1984. I was quite emotional of course when I made it to FedEx Field. The only negative things were the staff(one person) and the seating is way to tight. Also the restrooms are outdated. I'm not complaining, just speaking out from where I'm from and our stadium Ford Field which is state of the art so of course I am spoiled when I go to football games. With this said I will be back for multiple games next year!!
Rain the entire game. Even that didn't damper the day
Our seats in the end zone were great, great views even with the plays at the other end. I liked the large beer bar in the concourse just above our seats for refills and being able to stand and watch the game. Parking was easy, sad to see so few Redskins fans NOT filling the lots up and tailgating. Even with the beer bar, the other concessions had ridiculously long lines all game long.
Loved the total experience: tailgating with friends and family, and watching the game in awesome seats. This was my first time and it was fantastic.
I was concerned about going to this stadium with many of the reviews I had read. It turned out to be a great stadium. We watched the Redskins and Patriots game. We took the metro and did the 20 minute walk to the stadium which wasn’t as bad as I had anticipated at all. No waiting in lines once we got there. We were able to get through security quickly and experience all the game day offerings. Plenty of food to choose from and a great Redskins shop to get souvineers in.People working around the stadium were friendly and helpful. Would definitely go to a game here again.
Seat was great (padded no less), and Fed-Ex field is surprisingly good. My only downer was the BallPark bus from Ashburn Va,. which did not use the normal bus parking lot and used a lot a long way from the stadium. The amount of Patriots fans at the Redskins home was unbelievable. 4+ stars.
I was only there to see the GOAT. It was awesome. FedEx is cool would definitely return. My advice is to drive they have $30 parking. The Lyft after the game is over twice the normal price they wanted to charge $53 to go 7 miles away smh.
Best time of the year to see a patriots win over the redskins and have the chance to attend nationals playoff game. Special shout out to my brother for the experience being a patriots season ticket holder for a lot of years we love our patriots and love to travel to see them. Mostly WIN!!!!!Spoiled
Had a great time at the game, but the stadium had under staffed concessions and they ran out of food.
Meeting the players in person is 👌 it's an 👵 experience I won't ever forget it makes it better to see and enjoy the team like a cup of 🍵 😂 when they get hurt. ♥ my Washington Redskins all the player weather they mess 👆 or not their still Beautiful.
This was a once in a lifetime experience for me and my dad. He had never been to a game. I recently moved to the area so when I was able to buy tickets for us to attend, I did so. It was awesome to watch the game. It was a bucket list item marked off. Would I do it again? Absolutely, in a heartbeat.
Despite the fact that the Redskins lost by 10 points, but hey it was only 10 points, the Club level was awesome. For an unseasonably HOT game, we were able to go into the air-conditioned Club level and enjoy the fantastic food and drink options and watch the rest of the game in the comfort of a swivel chair on big screens. YAY!
The football game was amazing because the rivalry between the Redskins and Cowboys is huge. It was so much excitement and thrill in the stadium so my husband and I will definitely be there next year.
