The acting was great! I would see this again. THANKS
The cast was charming as they interacted with the audience. It was a perfect addition to a day in the city with my daughter.
Not what I was expecting but it was a very enjoyable performance. For anyone that loves the move this is a must see.
Incredible! Damon’s the best! Great set, cast, etc
I have seen play readings in NYC where the actors are lined up on stage, not in costume, hold the scripts in hand and alternately step up to the mikes to read their part. I was expecting the same sort of thing. Much to my surprise, this "play reading" was entirely different. We the audience were taken back in time as if we were part of the radio audience in the 40's. The set was beautiful. The actors, 5 in total, played all the characters in this wonderful story. It was quite enjoyable to watch and amazing to see they were able to remember which voice to use when. The studio is intimate, 90 seats which was full, added to the atmosphere. Highly recommend.
It was a very intimate venue, only 84 people. The show was amazing. The way the actors did the sound effects and what they used was quite fascinating. I am too young to have listened to or even have gone to a live radio play. It portrayed what I had in my mind it would have been like to experience a live radio play. They really made me picture in my mind what was happening. Truly amazing play!!
Just magnificent. Highly recommen this play. Acting was awesome. So well done that I will be going to another play there
Enjoyed the show very much, Thought the actors and actresses were outstanding. We love the movie It's a Wonderful Life and this experience of seeing the radio version was something special. The players never left character from beginning to end.
This was a delight to watch. Five talented actors played all the characters and when I closed my eyes I could follow the radio play having known the movie every year. I always weep when I see the movie. And I wept during this show. It is a wonderful show that captures the themes of self-worth, hard work, family, friends, truth, hope and more. The cast made these themes ring like a bell, Clarence.. An excellent way to start the season.
just simply intimate and amazing, small cast but large on entertainment and showmanship!!
