by Omar on 6/5/22Adler Theatre - DavenportSaw and loved the movie, but the sound system at the Adler Theater so inadequate that we could not understand most of the dialogue and singing. Seats in the balcony so uncomfortable that we paid more to move to the main floor.

I would love to see a fund raiser to purchase new seating for the Adler. That was my only discomfort for the evening. I will eagerly attend future shows and would be happy to contribute to a “Buy Your Seat” campaign.

Life is full of bad things they don't come to the theater to feel bad a doctor screwing his Pregnant patient on his Office table! What are you thinking what A disappointment I'd love to have my money back

After paying a sizable sum of money for 2 tickets, we tried squeezing in the tiny allotment of space- I am a normal size woman, but my husband is 6’7”. We could of handled this and will plan better on our next tickets, but a young women had a horrible cough for the entire 2 hours- it was almost “scary”. I know you can’t manage the health of audience, but it totally detracted from the play.

I spoke with friends who attended and they had the same complaint. We considered leaving at intermission, but instead got the hearing devices. Neither one of them functioned properly. So, all in all, not a very fun evening.

by NexttoNormalMom on 4/30/22Absolutely love Waitress the movie, so when I heard it was being turned into a musical I was ecstatic! To top it off Sara Bareilles was writing the lyrics and music?! Yes ma'am! So my youngest and I went to last night's show in Jacksonville and we had a blast! I was shocked to see it was an older crowd and didn't see a single soul singing along like we were, but loved watching people react to the entire show. My youngest was a little uncomfortable with "Bad Idea Reprise" scene but I thought it was hilarious. It did start a few minutes late but people were still pouring in to watch the show. This cast did phenomenally well. We laughed, we despised Earl, and we cried. Every single performer played their character well. Absolutely phenomneal show! I will be singing the songs for a long time!
