    Awesome

by meg on 9/10/23The JunkYard - Denver

Such a tasty morsel of a festival weekend and the energy was AMAZING. The porta-john situation was probably typical for a fest — 25+ minute wait with a chaotic line. Leaving the venue at closing is also something you should plan for as parking at the Junkyard is borderline non-existent. Cycle rickshaws can take you downtown, you can call a rideshare (at peak surge prices) if you walk further away from the venue, or test your fate with the local neighbors if you park on one of the nearby side streets.

    Great music terrible venue

    by PartyRocker on 8/31/23

The artists were amazing and the vibes/people were great! The venue sucked. Bad flow for foot traffic, one way in with no other exits, bathrooms were a mess/chaotic, lines were incredibly long and it all felt poorly planned. It was overcrowded and just not big enough for the amount of people that were there. There wasn’t any room for dancing, space to move, and if you went towards the back you’d get a blend of both stages so it wasn’t enjoyable. The staff/volunteers were all incredibly kind. Overall, I’m sadly disappointed.

    Good but more bathrooms

    by kelz on 8/31/23

I really liked the venue with the exception that it took 30 minutes to use the bathroom because there werent enough.

Good, but Needed more amenities for price paid

    by Moe on 8/31/23

The sounds quality, stages, lights and ease of access to beverages was all excellent. I could see and hear the music quite well and was impressed by the sets while in a parking lot. The only downside was the restroom situation. I knew to expect porta potties due to this location, but for the price of a ticket I was holding out hope that there may be mobile bathrooms brought in.. maybe next year.

    needed more portos

    by kated on 8/30/23

This festival was large and I felt that what we got for the ticket ticket price wasn't enough. The first and foremost best example I have is the LACK of porto potties. There should have been way more than there was. Next would have been a couple more food trucks, because the lines were really long. Overall needed to be better equipped for the number of attendees.

    Good vibes all around!

    by Momma S on 8/30/23

For someone who loved the original Meow Wolf Vortex in Taos in 2019, I was pleasantly pleased with this festival! Not only were the event staff friendly, professional, and organized, but the whole event was also! The artists on the line-up satisfied all of my musical likes, and I even discovered some new amazing artists! Def will go again!

    Great show, horrendous bathrooms

    by Kyky on 8/30/23

All in all had a great time! The lineup was amazing! Security was pretty seamless as well. Only feedback is having more bathrooms for the number of people that attended. Bathrooms were in pretty bad condition only an hour or so into the festival each day, and the lines took over a half hour. I don’t know that I would come back if bathrooms are going to be that bad next year. The cost of mixed drinks was pretty high for the amount of alcohol provided, so would be helpful to lower a bit if you’re barely getting any liquor in there.

    Great Small Festival

    by Jazz on 8/30/23

Meow Wolf really stepped it up this year. For how small this festival is, there were quite a few hidden interactive things to find. Security was quick getting in. The sound bleed was bad if you were in between the stages but if you moved a bit closer to either stage it was nonexistent. The bathroom situation was also pretty bad on Saturday. Other than that definitely worth going to
