Danish metal fusion act Volbeat has grown from a well-known regional band in Scandinavia to an international touring outfit sharing the bill with music giants Megadeth and Metallica. The four-piece group mixes metal, hard rock and a touch of punk with rock and roll inspiration from icons like Elvis, creating a well-liked combination that easily sells tickets. And when the Northern European performers aren’t in the recording studio, they’re tackling headlining concerts and taking part in the international festival circuit. Volbeat’s nearly decade-long discography boasts five studio albums, all of which have achieved at least gold status in their native Denmark. The band’s 2013 effort, “Outlaw Gentlemen & Shady Ladies,” marked the first collection to chart in the U.S. That set, which former Anthrax guitarist and new Volbeat member Robert Caggiano co-produced, made it to the top of Billboard’s Hard Rock Albums chart.
Seeing both bands for the first time was amazing. Even the downpour did not hurt the show.
The concert was awesome, I love the band, they were outstanding. The crowd was so energetic it was great! I've seen Volbeat 3 times now and they keep getting better. I'll be seeing them again, can't wait. Love Michael and the boys! Thank you for a super great concert.
This is my second time seeing Volbeat and I was not disappointed. They put on a great live show. I am impressed at how their live music sounds just as good as the studio albums. That is a sign of a talented group. Super interactive with the crowd, which always makes people feel special. I will always take the opportunity to see Volbeat live when they are is the US. Keep rockin' guys!
Amazing show!! We will definitely see volbeat again!!
It was a great performance from both bands. A great venue as well.
Waited along time to see them and the show did not disappoint
This concert was an amazing experience. Both bands rocked. I've seen them both previously but never together. So glad I got to see this show.
Venue at Hollywood Casino Grantville was great - very clean. The only negative is that the seats are all on the same flat level. Stadium seating would make every seat in the house have a great view. Volbeat & Halestorm were awesome even in the pouring rain! Hope they come back again soon.
Both bands REALLY rocked their hearts out. Best concert I've been to so far. The venue was decent. Had blast! I'll be back!!!
The band was great, despite a storm halfway thru their act. Great sound quality. The venue is as basic as you can get, could have been a field anywhere (Hollywood Casino Grantville PA).
Volbeat never fails to put on a great show. All three of my kids loved it
Halestorm played a set for 45 mins. They are an incredibly talented band. 45 mins was way too short. Can’t wait for them to come back to montreal for a longer set. Hopefully as headliners.
Great Show! Sweet Venue!! Wish they gave us an encore though!! They played for almost 2 hours! Rocked out! Dude had a sore throat too! 🙌🏻
The concert was amazing despite the fact that Michael had a sore throat, he pushed through it with the help of everyone singing along. You couldn’t ask for a better fan base. Halestorm was outstanding as well. If I could give more than 5 ⭐️ I definitely would.
I drove 90 minutes to go see Volbeat. They were outstanding and worth it. My only disappointment was I drove longer than they played. 80 minutes including the time waiting for the oncore.
The new guitarist is still figuring out his place , but overall Both bands were fantastic!!
Solid show - but venue was awful; only 1 open bar downstairs (lines way too long), and only 2 beer choices, rock concerts deserve much better.
This was my sixth time seeing Volbeat, and I was blown away as usual. Despite Michael having throat issues he powered through and the band delivered another blistering set of rock 'n roll goodness. Opening act, Halestorm, was also phenomenal.
We had an amazing time seeing Halestorm and Volbeat! The Ocean Casino has a great room that was accessible and I felt safe in. Halestorm was fantastic and the time between Halestorm and Volbeat was well paced. Volbeat played a great set despite the lead singer having a sore throat. I highly recommend this venue and these bands.
Halestorm opened up got the crowd going and amped up for Volbeat, Halestorm in their own right is great and for volbeat to pair up for their tour was awesome! There is so much talent between both groups! Definitely want to see both of them again!
