overall it was an awesome experience

by p. a. on 6/4/195th Street Beach Stage - Virginia Beach

60,000 people and hardly a porta potty in sight. I might consider a bathing suit next time and just sitting in the sand to pee

VIP? Not from that far away!

by Gkhack on 6/4/195th Street Beach Stage - Virginia Beach

The VIP seated area was a city block away literally from the stage! I thought we were getting great seats, and we paid for them, but when we showed up to the show early to get good seats we found we were over 200 yards from the stage. Not only did they put the seats that far back, but they placed the soundstage tent right in the line of sight, so if you sat in your seat you couldn’t see the stage! Very disappointing To say the least.

    Show was only good part

by Tiffany on 6/4/195th Street Beach Stage - Virginia Beach

Luke Combs was absolutely amazing! Everything else was terrible. There were signs to direct where to go, there was essentially zero security. I had tickets that weren’t even scanned so anyone could’ve gotten into my section. Beer ran out. Poor planning for the crowd size. Probably won’t ever go again- unless I’m in a hotel and see the show for free & avoid the crowd.

    Room for improvement

by H4music on 6/3/195th Street Beach Stage - Virginia Beach

Artists were excellent, although we skipped the show Sunday. Friday night was ok, band was excellent. Disappointed with the lack of facilities, impossible to get to a bathroom and when you finally did, they were all out of toilet paper. (Even before the music started) Saturday was a mad house, none of the staff/volunteers knew where to send ticket holders to get inside the event. Same situation with bathrooms. Have you even seen a portajon overflow? Well now we can check that off our list. They knew how many people to expect yet seemed totally unprepared for it.

    Brett Eldredge

by John1792 on 6/8/185th Street Beach Stage - Virginia Beach

Waited on him 2 1/2 hours to come out, and when he did he was slurring words. Left after 4 songs because it only got worse. Worst concert I've ever been to

    Patriotic festival Va Beach, Va

by Pammie65 on 6/7/185th Street Beach Stage - Virginia Beach

Concert was very good and plan on going next year, however DO NOT BUY THE SKIP THE LINE PASSES AS THEY DO NOT WORK. They would not accept mine and I paid an additional $20 for both tickets.

    Concerts were great!

by Brantleygfan on 6/6/185th Street Beach Stage - Virginia Beach

The concerts were great in spite of the weather! One thing they really needed to do was have signs or people outside the gates directing people into the right line. I stood in the fast pass line thinking I was in the right one (I was pretty close to the front) and was then told I had to go into the back of the other line which was pretty long at that point. Exiting the pit area was ridiculous. Maybe If they opened up more exits instead of having everyone funnel into this small exit would have been faster to leave. Whoever did the spotlight for Brantley Gilbert I guess decided to go home when the rain hit because you couldn’t really see him if he was toward the front of the stage. Other than those complaints the concert was really good! Me and my boyfriend really enjoyed ourselves

    Brantley Gilbert was phenomenal

by SandyCalhoun on 6/6/185th Street Beach Stage - Virginia Beach

Even though we thought the show was going to be cancelled due to a nasty storm that tore through Virginia Beach on Saturday night. Brantley Gilbert was still determined to perform. After the storm cleared and there was no threat to the fans on the beach the show went on and he was incredible. Him and his band put on an epic show. We had a blast!

    Will never attend again

by Sally1mae on 6/6/185th Street Beach Stage - Virginia Beach

This was my first time attending. Coordination for back up were poor! We’ve had very incliment weather all week, they were warned for several days of high possibility for severe storms. They kept this on the beach. I had paid for pit passes, appx 40mins after gates opened, they evacuated the beach, for lightning and severe storm approaching the area. The concert was postponed almost 3hrs, leaving thousands of people to flee for shelter all at once. Around 9:30 all other acts had been cancelled, only preform that night would be Brantley Gilbert. Shortly after BG took stage, I was in the middle of SEVERAL intoxicated people and a large group. Someone behind me kept feeling my butt, guy in front of my sister in law kept trying to touch her breast, she was able to get him to stop, but when people started drunk arguing and spitting , with people around them also getting spit on. WE LEFT!!! We were only able to see 4 damn songs. After we were able to get out of the crowd( we were all the way up front in the middle) we stopped and was standing along the metal fence, checking on each other, when a very rude security staff told us to keep walking, we are not tall woman, and turned to leave, stopping to try and find the exit over everyone, when the security staff pushed us and told us to walk!! This event should have been moved to the Va Bch convention center!! Before gates opened, they already were aware a severe storm was heading that way, and would arrive in around an hr.. tickets should Be refunded... FYI, Sunday’s concert was started 45 early due to bad weather later that day. And Friday also had storms, non severe like Saturday...

    Could have been organized better

by Mustang1967777 on 6/5/185th Street Beach Stage - Virginia Beach

I bought early access tickets and it didn’t matter, waste of money, very unorganized. But Brantley put on a great show!!

    Patriotic Festival a Bust

by Sassy120165 on 6/5/185th Street Beach Stage - Virginia Beach

I bought tickets for my entire family to attend this festival to see Brantley Gilbert. They were calling for rain and storms for days prior to the event. Two hours prior to the concert starting they cleared the beach for a lightening strike close to the venue. Then a thunderstorm arrived. It poured rain with more lightening. They kept saying they were trying to get the concert started. They eventually opened the gates and the concert started at 9 PM. My family and I had left for the 2 hour drive home. The weather was miserable and we didn't think they were going to have the concert because the lightening continued. Apparently Brantley Gilbert played for 1 hour with no encore. There was no opening acts, no patriotic activities, no meet and greet or anything else. I think they should have moved the concert to the scope because there were days of bad weather predicated. I lost alot of money on this concert and so did alot of other people. I will never but tickets to this event again. They were more concerned with money then giving a good show.

    Very Patriotic

by NOTSAMESHIT on 6/5/185th Street Beach Stage - Virginia Beach

We had a blast at the Patriotic Festival, feeling of crowd was amazing, major majority of everyone there had a common goal ....Celebrating our Armed Forces and having a great time. It was an amazing heartfelt experience. Brantley Gilbert was my favorite by far!! However, I experienced a new band for me while there, BUCKSHOT and I mean those guys were great and in my opinion could have been on the BIG STAGE and Blown some of those other Bands out into the WATER!!! Keep it up VIRGINIA BEACH........cause you may have out done yourself this year!!!!
