So i have been a listener for about sometime ,I pretty much am confidence know all the songs but he’s a very great artist. He did kind of come a few minutes late, but it was worth it because the vibe he presented was great. The music was great. Everything was great about it. I wish I could re-experience that moment definitely worth the price and my ticket.

  • Time Wasters

by greenibandit on 8/14/24The Atlantis - WashingtonRating: 3 out of 5

The show when he finally appeared was decent, but the overall experience was a waste of time. We Doors/event was supposed to open at 6:30pm it didn't open till about 7:30 pm and we didn't get in till about 8:pm. Then he never showed up till 10 pm and this was a Sunday with people working the next day. So basically we were at this place from about 600pm and we finally left at around 11pm cause we couldn't go any longer. We were tired from standing for so long. Also the place was soooooo hot with the AC seemingly not functional. Victonys performance was pretty decent, but his tardiness and the atmosphere left much to be desired. Next time I go to his concert if I ever do, I sure am coming later than the time the show is supposed to start.

  • Victony = Pure Talent, Stage Presence, and Vibes!

by Carebear on 8/12/24Gramercy Theatre - New YorkRating: 5 out of 5

For it being his first U.S tour, I can say that he brought amazing energy to the stage snd really gave it his all. If we’re keeping it 100, there are many artists who rely heavily on a lot of smoke and mirrors to cover for their lack of live vocals and/or stage presence, but with Victony, all he needed was the stage, good lighting, and hype from the crowd to get the show popping! He played all his best hits which really got the people excited. Everything about the show and setlist was so fun and lively that if I had the money, I would have gladly seen him at multiple stops on his tour. I’m beyond happy for him that his first U.S tour has been successful so far, and I can’t wait to see the tour production go up the next time he comes to the states because, trust and believe, I will be there!!!

  • Poorly planned, waited for hours

by Temi on 8/11/24Rating: 1 out of 5

Went to the DC Victony concert at the Atlantis. Doors were suppose to open at 6:30pm but didn’t open till about 7:15. The DJ played for 2 HOURS, non stop back to back music, it was extremely hot and the crowd was exhausted afterwards. By 9pm we had to listen to 3 opening acts from new rappers in between the DJ playing more music. By 9:45 Victony finally came out and for better or worse played for about 1 hours 15-30 minutes. Around 11:15 the show ended. Being held hostage for 3 hours listening to afrobeats in a hot venue on a SUNDAY was not worth it. Victony himself was good but the schedule was poorly planned.

  • Amazing Show, just plan to stay late!

by Kleo on 8/10/24Gramercy Theatre - New YorkRating: 4 out of 5

The show portion was great and the surprise guests were also worth the wait. However, there was abut of scheduling hurdles and the show ended very late. Overall, I would do it again just not mid week, A friday show definitely.
