CARLY AQUILINO IN CONCERT:
Since breaking out on MTV's hit show Girl Code, comedian Carly Aquilino has become the brutally and hilariously honest best friend everyone wishes they had. She's just as fiery during her unmissable stand-up shows as she is on TV, treating fans to her trademark colorful hair and heavy Long Island accent while she pokes fun at everything from fashion flubs and dating disasters to musings about growing up in an Italian household with two older brothers. Aquilino approaches her material with a riotous no-nonsense attitude that pulls no punches, infusing her jokes with relatable anecdotes and self-deprecating sarcasm that leaves ticket buyers howling and begging for more.
BACKGROUND SNAPSHOT:
Brooklyn-based comedian Carly Aquilino grew up in Long Island, NY and began writing jokes at a young age. At 19 she moved to Brooklyn and began working in a hair salon by day and performing at local comedy clubs by night. Her big break came when she was asked to fill in as an opening act at a stand-up show featuring Chris Distefano, a featured cast member on MTV's talking heads show Guy Code. Her performance impressed MTV casting agents in the audience, who subsequently offered her a role on Guy Code's sister show, Girl Code. The show premiered in 2013 to huge ratings, launching Aquilino to stardom and drawing her out for a national stand-up tour. Since then she has appeared regularly on the MTV shows Guy Court and Charlamagne and Friends, in addition to maintaining a rigorous stand-up tour schedule.

I knew she was funny but honestly I was so surprised at her set. My friends and I couldn’t stop laughing. I cried and maybe even peed a little. She needs to be more famous so that she tours more and COMES BACK!!! I want to see more of her.
Carly did a great set and really had the audience engaged. I was pleasantly surprised at how funny she is live. I had seen her on Girl Code, but her full set was really well done. Even my 70 year old mom laughed her head off. Recommend!
Thought I would try Harrah's comedy show since Borgata did not have one on this Thursday night. Don't waste your money!
This was my second time seeing Carly. She is hands down, one of the best young female comedic talents to hit the stand-up scene in a long time.
I loved it! She was amazing and really funny! I would definitely go again if she comes back and recommend my friends to go see her.
Two openers; one was okay, the other was hilarious! Carly was amazing! She interacted with the audience and had everyone (even the guys that attended) laughing. Definitely a good time, I'd see her again next time she comes to town!
The openers weren't great, but she put on a hilarious show!
Her opening act I forget his name. I think last name Williams was very good. Carly herself was good. I don't know if I go see her again. There we're a few die hard Girl code fans there. But we had fun.
Carly put on a great show. She's funny, charming, calm, cool and has an amazing delivery. Her material is relevant and I'm a big fan now.
