Derek Hough is the most nominated male choreographer in Emmy Awards history, with 12 nominations and 3 wins. His prolific career as a dancer includes appearances in TV, film and stage productions such as NBC’s Hairspray Live! and Disney’s High School Musical The Musical: The Series. Hough began dancing at the age of 11 in his hometown of Salt Lake City, Utah, before moving to London with sister Julianne Hough, who has joined him on sold-out tours. Derek Hough gained notoriety as a dancer on ABC’s Dancing with the Stars, partnering with celebrities and earning a record-breaking six mirror ball trophies. Hough, who is also a New York Times bestselling author, completed his first nationwide solo tour (Derek Hough Live: The Tour) in 2019.

This show was absolutely EVERYTHING a dance show should be! There was never a dull moment and I did not want it to end! Derek’s concept for this show was masterfully planned and executed! He, Hayley, his dancers and musicians are to be commended for their talent and their incredible performances! Bravo!!! Thank you for this riveting show!

I took my daughter for her. Never expected I’d enjoy it so much. Great show for all ages (I’m old!) It was obvious how much time and effort went into this show. Thx for the experience. I’d go again for sure and take my husband and son too.
The show was absolutely fabulous. The dancers were beyond in their talent. Loved seeing Derek and his wife dance together. Well put together.
Loved the ease of parking and getting into and out of the venue. Loved the dancing and musical choices but the group I was with thought the music was a little too loud and the lighting was too dark—to the point where it was difficult to see the dancing. We loved that the show itself was fast paced and thoroughly entertaining to all the different age groups that attended. All the dancers were SO talented as were the musicians.
Derek's show was excellent! The choreography, the music and Derek's singing was awesome! The dancing was unbelievable! Derek is a sexy talented man! And Haley, to dance like that after 4 months of having brain surgery, unbelievable!
It was a very well thought show. Will go again and bring friends to watch it. Hopefully soon. Not one boring moment
We loved the show. The skill, the passion, the humor, the love, the costumes -- all spectacular! Watching Derek dance with his wife feels almost like an intrusion, but also their dancing is effervescent and the rest of the cast is just delightful. The show did seem better suited to a theatre stage than the multi-use arena where we saw it, but oh, well. Still amazing.
This event was arguably one of the best performances I’ve ever had the pleasure of attending. The dances were beautifully choreographed and visually stunning. The music spanned a wide spectrum of genres and catered to people of all ages. Derek showcased an amazing range of talent: dancing, singing, and playing guitar. I highly recommend this event to those considering attending.
Derek is an unbelievably talented entertainer! Not only is his dancing and choreographer the best, but he is a great singer and plays the guitar! I have seen many dance shows, and Symphony of Dance is by far the best!
