R&B singer-songwriter Vedo appeared on the fourth season of the NBC series "The Voice" in 2013, and has been building a successful music career ever since. With Usher as his coach, Vedo's smooth and sultry singing style resonated with judges and viewers alike, earning him a slot in the top 12 and a record deal with indie label Platinum Power Moves. Vedo released his debut album, 93, soon after.
Born Wilbart "Vedo" McCoy III in Benton Harbor, Michigan, Vedo began singing at a very young age. After a series of frequent moves, his family settled in Atlanta, where he went to high school. The burgeoning artist spent his free time honing his songwriting and vocal skills, and gained national prominence when he appeared on "The Voice."
Following his record deal, Vedo released a handful of projects, including his 2020 album For You, which spawned the TikTok hit "You Got It." He also did an NPR Tiny Desk concert with Usher in 2022.
In early 2023, Vedo released his sixth full-length album, Mood Swings, which the singer calls "bedroom R&B." The project features guest appearances from Chris Brown, Eric Bellinger, Erica Banks, Tink, Ari Lennox, and Lloyd. Vedo also headed out on tour in 2023, performing concerts across the United States.
the energy the performers and rappers had opening for vedo really set the tone and amped the crowd up.Vedo his wife and dancers came and left their hearts and souls on that stage. 10/10
Such a wonderful time , from the opening to the end of the show. I lost my voice from screaming so much .
Everything was great. No opening performances were announced when purchasing the ticket. I was happy to see T-Rell as one of the opening acts. The venue was nice. Parking was not as difficult as one could imagine. I spent about 5-10 minutes to park and then made my way inside. The line to get drinks was not that bad and then i went out to the standing area. I did not make it in time to grab a seat, so glad i wore my sneakers. I would really pay again to see him. His performance was great.
The meet and greet was short and chill. I was expecting more items for the meet-and-greet, not just a VIP pass and a bracelet. Also, we ended up waiting in line longer than we were told, so the timing wasn’t ideal. But overall, he did a great job. The concert was awesome, though they definitely need to stick to a better schedule next time.
I love Vedo he did an amazing performance as always. This was my second time coming to see him in concert and he always gives the best performance. Ill be coming back again to see him for his next concert. He is an great singer and I love his music.
The show was amazing! The vibe at the venue was great! Great drinks! I would highly recommend his shows!! I will be going to another concert whenever he goes back on tour!
Vedo is a must-see in action. He was on fire the whole show, and he had special guests T-Rell and Big Boogie, which was a surprise, and they were awesome as well.
It wasn't the actual show or Vedo. I enjoyed it soo much. He is a excellent performer. My issues is there wasn't any where to sit. And there was nothing different in VIP then just regular ticket. You pay extra for a better experience that I didn't receive. I will not attend another show at this location unless there's a promise to have chairs. Everyone can't stand in heels for hours in one spot.
Every time I see Vedo he puts on a great show… He’s sooo down to earth. I will be seeing him every time he comes to Memphis and I’m willing to travel to see him as well.
I went to the concert in Dallas November 2nd, it was beyond amazing! He puts on a great show, he’s soo incredibly sweet, he smells amazing! 10000000/10 I can’t wait to go back, and see him again! It was soo fun, I sung my heart out!❤️😍🤭
