This is the first time that I’ve seen Vanessa and her band. She was terrific and so were they. Her voice range is crazy and her energy on stage brings everything alive. I will definitely see her again!

This was my first visit to the venue, but it won't be the last. The sound was terrific and the seating intimate without being crowded ~ really a perfect balance. Wait staff was super and attentive. Vanessa Collier was amazing. What a voice and a great horn player too. Her band was spot on and the lead guitar by performance by Laura Chavez was especially noteworthy. I'll be back to Jimmy's soon!

  • Vanessa Collier - Great Entertainment!

Jimmy's Jazz and Blues Club did not disappoint. Although we sat with an obstructed view of the stage from the SkyBar, (last seats available to non-members) the experience was wonderful! Chris delivered delicious gimlets and provided consistent attention throughout the evening; seating was comfortable; food was delivered promptly, hot, and delicious; acoustics were fantastic; and Vanessa Collier had an outstanding group of band members that delivered an incredible show. I will be visiting again however, need to be "Johnny-on-the-spot" for the good seats in front of the stage!

  • Seating

First time at Jimmys Blues club. Sat up on the rear balcony. Had front table but rear seats. The view was not great because of 4 people sitting in front of us. The band was good but not a premier show. Spent $195. for 2 seats. Did not pay that much to see Eric Clapton. Not worth it.

  • The perfect combination

Listening to Vanessa Collier, a dynamic and accomplished musician at a state of the art venue. Doesn't get any better.

  • Awesome Blues Performer

by Byron on 12/13/21Rating: 5 out of 5

My wife and I have seen Vanessa play at several different venues, including indoors at both Natalie’s locations in Columbus, and outdoors at the Creekside Blues & Jazz Fest in Gahanna. Each performance was memorable from the great music and outstanding vocals to her stage presence that always gets the crowd going and engaged in the performance itself. A truly great talent that everyone should see if you get the chance..

Everyone was great. And the fact that a saxophone player was the headliner at a guitarmageddon was mind blowing.

  • Outstanding Show

Nice venue. Vanessa was fantastic, but the highlight of the night was our first exposure to King Solomon Hicks!! Such a smooth guitar player and a wonderful young man to talk with. Only 22 years old and I expect big things will be in store for him.
