  • I was able to see everything that is Tiger Woods.

by ArmyStrong1986 on 3/14/18Innisbrook Resort and Golf Club - Palm HarborRating: 5 out of 5

Getting to see Tiger Woods was a dream come true. The PGA has Birdies for the Brave set up for Active Duty Military & Veterans. Such a cool set up & event honestly. I will honestly be back every year from now on.

  • Fun Tournament

We have been attending this golf tournament for the last 6-7 years and have always enjoyed ourselves there. This year things were a bit different with the appearance of Tiger Woods at the tournament, which was great for the tournament - loved seeing him!. We usually get the tickets for the Hooters Owls Nest on Hole #12 & #13. Extra viewing platforms were added to the Hooters' area; however, if you didn't get a "front row" spot on the platform, you couldn't see any golf. Perhaps some bleachers instead of all viewing platforms would have been a better option. The golf course did a good job at trying to accommodate the crowds, but if this crowd size continues, I think larger seating areas are going to have to be considered. Great job on tickets & parking. Super local event. However, the media focused so much on Tiger Woods, the other golfers were treated like unknowns - even the winner! Pretty sad!

  • Venue was perfect!

The Copperhead layout is great for viewing the Valspar Tournament. Plenty of concession stands and facilities. The opportunity to see Tiger Woods in his resurgence was awesome! Perfect weather day for watching all the competition and a thrilling finish. I called the putt Tiger made on 17, and when he made the putt, it was pandemonium! I’m coming back next year!

A great tournament. Exciting. Good venue, more going on this year at the venue than in the past. One thing I wish they had though was drinking fountains on the course. Had to stand in line for a while even to get water.

My first time attending a PGA tournament and thoroughly enjoyed it and got to experience the Tiger phenomenon. Transportation via buses to and from the event were convenient. Food lines were long out on the course but prices weren’t too high and there were lots of options overall. I wish I had brought a chair but now I know for next time.

Even with the surge in crowds, the organizers did a great job.

The Valspar championship was a blast. It was my first time. Innesbrook did a good job hosting and the concert after was an amazing plus. The only criticism I have is that they need better beer tents or attendants working them. We stood in like for an entire hour to get 2 beers. Tiger Woods was at the 4th hole when we got in line and the 9th when we got out. That’s quite the problem.

  • valspar was fantastic

by valspargirl on 3/13/18Innisbrook Resort and Golf Club - Palm HarborRating: 5 out of 5

Never been to a golf tournament before. Every part of it was great. It was well organized and the volunteers were extremely helpful and friendly. The signage to find parking was great and the buses ran frequently. Even with the large crowds the lines went quickly. I would definitely go to this event again

  • Valspar 2018

by Tonyh28 on 3/13/18Innisbrook Resort and Golf Club - Palm HarborRating: 3 out of 5

Looooooooong lines for water. Definetly need water/drinks non alcoholic stations. No maps available , no signage to direct you and none of the staff new the layout. Was easy to get lost, and we did several times. Other than that it was awesome.

  • What a Rush

I have been to The Valspar before and always had a great time. Having played the Copperhead Course makes it even more fun because you relate your own experience to what you see these men do on this great course. The folks at Innisbrook outdid themselves this year. The course was in US Open condition. The capacity crowd gave an energy that even the players commented on. Being there fo Tiger’s comeback was thrilling. Hope he comes back next year. I will...regardless!

First time at a golf tournament and to be honest I came to watch Tiger Woods. The venue was outstanding and everyone on the grounds was cordial and coordinated. Atmosphere was amazing and I am now definitely interested in coming back if Tiger comes back in town. One to remember for a lifetime.

  • Day One: TIger Watch!

by sammstar1492 on 3/12/18Innisbrook Resort and Golf Club - Palm HarborRating: 5 out of 5

What a great day! Although it was a bit cold, it was bright and sunny and we got up close with all the golf stars who played. We spent the first part of the day walking the course and then settled in on the bleachers on the 18th to watch the golfers come in. Great venue, great event. We will be back!

  • Valspar skinny

by MrDF on 3/12/18Innisbrook Resort and Golf Club - Palm HarborRating: 4 out of 5

The course is not easy to get to unless you live in northern Pinellas County. We drove from Brandon and it took us 1 1/2 hours to get to the parking lot. The course has to be one of the most difficult on tour. Lots of up and down(hard to believe for a course this close to the Gulf). The fairways are very narrow with little to no rough before OB or water. There are many stands and raised pavilions for viewing, so watching the action, except for TW's group, was fairly easy.

  • Weather made the day

by InTheDetails on 3/12/18Innisbrook Resort and Golf Club - Palm HarborRating: 4 out of 5

With Tiger Woods playing, the place was very crowded and busy. The extra media added to the frustration. The parking areas were well handled, but the bus ride to the golf course took way too long (mostly sitting and waiting). The grounds at Innisbrook were nice however, and the weather was perfect. They also had ample port-a-pottys (although some got pretty messy). Overall, I have 2 main complaints: 1) there were not enough food vendors (shouldn't have to wait in line for 45 minutes to get food), and 2) there were too many private party stands around the holes. These stands blocked the view for regular people. Also, the Hooters beer stands were a bit much. Too noisy, and the people seemed to care more about the beer than the golf. Not the kind of thing that belongs at a pro golf event (at least not right at a green).
