A great way to spend time with my family. We have 3 boys, 21, 18 & 12. Fun was had by all! It's not easy finding something for all three to enjoy equally due to their age differences. Will go back!
Grounds, staff and all extended support make this tournament one of the favorites on the PGA tour.
Enjoyed the day on the course itself. Lots of shade. Places to sit, food and water drinks easy access. And washrooms. Could use some cooling stations ie: shaded areas with large fans blowing cool mist. Have seen these used at other large events where extreme heat is issue. Found it difficult to find the parking(Red). as signage was not clear. Roads in this area are already busy(6-8 lanes US 19) We had to make several U-turns and stop and ask three different places to actually get to the lot. Once in lot very good volunteers helping and bus transport into the course. Finding the course maps was also a bit of a challenge and we didn’t see any info posted on pairings for the day. So walking around blindly so to speak . Beautiful course!!
Course was in great shape and all the vendor experiences and tents were great. Volunteers were very helpful. Overall a really fun event!
I was going to buy a ticket but parking is not available, I'm not going without parking
I have attended a number of PGA tourneys, including a number of US Open and PGA championships. While they are exciting, they are way too crowded to really have an enjoyable time. This was my 4th Valspar Championship, and my wife and I have had a wonderful time at each one. The course is beautiful, parking and transportation to the course efficient and simple, food and drink readily available and reasonably priced, and there are wonderful restrooms available in trailers!! We take our folding chairs and sit almost wherever we wish. A very nice touch has been the comfortable seats that have replaced many of the metal benches. Overall we have a wonderful time, and plan on attending annually for many years to come, as our Florida condominium is only 19 miles away!!
Post Brad Paisely show we had a horrendous experience returning to the Green Lot parking. A large group of fellow concert participants who also parked in this area were left stranded. This despite repeated inquiries with onsite attendees who were managing the shuttles for the other parking areas. After a call was made to the Valspar number listed in our program we were able to convey our dilemma to the operator who we conjecture contacted one of the attendees who came to our plight. By then we were almost the last group departing the concert. Ended our experience on a sour note quite frankly.
1. The 2 days we attended the vendors ran out of water. 2. The Brad Paisley concert was scheduled around dinner time and as you walked through the golf course toward the concert area the food vendors were closed and once going into the concert area with the other 25,000 people there lines 35 deep for the one food vendor. No snacks of any type available, just booze. 3. At the end of the concert as everyone was leaving (after dark) none of the volunteers knew which direction or the names of streets they were escorting people too, so walked an extra mile or two to make it back to the parking area. Long walk through dark areas, poor lighting, poor directions. Appeared to be too many entrances and exits from this location.
We had a great time as usual! It is sad the PGA dumped the tournament date in favor of the Players! We were at the Owl's Nest when an osprey caught a fish and proceeded to fly around the gallery at everyone's applause, he really seemed toy the praise until he dropped his fish. Some knucklehead ran out and picked up the almost dead and returned it to the water probably died in the water after the talon wounds and being out of the water for over 5 minutes. Bad day for the fish and the bird. The tournament was great we enjoyed seeing our favorite players and followed Bubba through the 18th. We will be back again next year but will be on the course instead of the Owl's Nest.
My husband, cousin and I spent Saturday at the course. And then of course stayed for the concert! The tournament was very fun to watch as the leader were pretty bunched on Saturday. The concert started right on time, which was a first! And Brad was so entertaining. The bus system for parking worked perfectly. Loved the day. Thanks.
Very good experience with parking. Beautiful day. I had a really good time. Will do it again next year.
The Valspar is well run and well organized. Had a great experience with the off site will-call office. My tickets for the “Owls Nest” were not there but the ladies went out of their way to track them down and actually printed new tickets while I waited! They saved the day. Thank you again Will-Call ladies!
I hadn't been to that tournament since it was the Transistions. I was happy to see many more concessions areas which shortened lines and made it very nice . The whole day could not have better
As it is every year it is a good, fun and enjoyable experience. This yesr sgain I was at the Hooters Owls Nest and had a great time. Valspar once again made the tournament a fan friendly event with plenty of things for fans to enjoy. Innisbrook and the Copperhead course were once again in great shape and made the days I was there very enjoyable. Can’t wait until next year

Brad Paisley was awesome, a perfect setting and great weather with the sun going down beside the stage - all amazing!!! For Chic-filet being a sponsor, we couldn't find a sandwich anywhere at the tournament, and we walked 8 miles that day, never saw one concession offering Chic-filet. For the concert, I'd suggest next year you offer VIP tickets again so people who don't want to sit with the drunk people have a place to go with structure, aisles and rows. Also, hand out trash bags at the concert entrance. Concert goers left horrible messes behind. Shame on them!
Quite intimate and you can get up close to the players. Easy to walk from hole to hole. Several vantage points form which to camp out. The Owls Nest was a good venue for a large gathering which was not to raucous.
The Owls Nest was a fun place to be and the course is a lovely intimate setting for a tournament. How ever the parking situation is a nightmare! The signage entering Innisbrook needs to be more specific and mor professional signage. Unessesary turn around could be avoided. I saw many people losing their minds before they even entered the tournament. Such a great expierance inside and a lame experience outside. Come on people, step up your signs and better placement!
Enjoyed the Valspar on Saturday. Layout for viewing even tops Bayhill. This is our 6th year. We will return. However we will not park and ride the bus again. Buses drop off and pick up way too far from the main gate. With mobility problems my wife just barely made it to the dirt road pick up.
Love the course. It's always well set up and a great place to see a golf tournament Uber was better organized this year, however, instead of having a lot that you have to get on a bus to go have an entrance designated for Uber Riders at a lot close the to Valspar. Not the college Food- Every time we went to the food line they were out of water, out of wine out of something. So we waited in long lines only to find out that items we wanted were out. And we couldn't hold up the line to wait for those things to be restocked.
