Though the home team was not victorious, it was an amazing performance by the Bulldogs, one of the NCAA's top teams. Not hard to see how they've showed up in Sweet 16 and I believe, Elite 8.
I love the small venue for basketball. Great experience overall. Parking is terrible.
I drove 3 hours each way to go to this game and it was worth every mile! The venue has close, free parking and the staff are professional and friendly. A good time was had by all, though the BYU fans came away a bit happier because their team won, but U of P made it interesting with an 8 point lead at halftime. I will be going again next year for sure!
I was delighted to see the Cougars stop that sneak play by the Pilots, the 8-on-5 fast break early in the second half.
Everything was great from how easy the parking was to how great are seats were,except one thing... There was no beer being sold at the game
This was my second time at Chiles Center and I vow not to ever buy tickets again in the bleacher section. They are just too cramped and uncomfortable. I had knees in my back the whole first half until I moved to an open seat elsewhere. The positive was being able to find a closer parking spot this time and the people directing traffic did an excellent job which enable me to park fairly quickly and leave quickly.
Nice venue. I should be able to say what I want no matter how short the review is.
This was my first time attending an event at Chiles Center. I doubt I will ever attend an event there again. Although we arrived 45 minutes early parking was a nightmare and we parked far away - after first being directed through one winding lot where there were no spaces left we were then directed to another and barely got a space there among a lot of construction mess. Upon leaving the traffic directors were completely ineffective and cars did not leave the area in any organized fashion. As for the game - U of P played great and I will watch them only on TV in the future. I was there as a Gonzaga fan and this venue does not even compare to the "Kennel" at Gonzaga. The upper bench seats behind the baskets were very cramped and uncomfortable even for someone like me who has short legs.
It was the most amazing event, I love BYU basketball games, good price.
We has a wonderful time watching the BYU cougars play against the Portland Pilots. The Pilot's arena was intimate and comfortable.
