We got bar rail seats, which sounded pretty good. However, when we showed up we got the worst bar rail seats in the whole entire arena. We were the bar rail behind the UMD band. Couldn't even see the game because the band stood the whole entire time. I was looking into the back of people's head. Absolutely ridiculous. I can't believe they even sell those tickets.
It was our first time at a college hockey game...Great game...very fun. Amsoil is super "big league". GO BULLDOGS!
Very exciting hockey game. Seats were great except for certain times when the teams were close to the glass at the opposite end of the rink but on the same side of the rink as me. (Like at the opposite end but along the left hand side wall/glass) It was hard to see the players as they looked blurry.
excellent game and venue for watching. Looking forward to another game. I love the "Bird's Eye view to see the plays develop and this was great. If you want ice cream you better get in line EARLY!!!!!!
UMD 6-0 Good seats, Great Company. Not a bad seat in the Amzoil Arena
First chance we had to see Univ MN-Duluth men's hockey at Amsoil Arena. Despite UMD losing the game, the game was a blast. Also purchased tickets through ticket master and printed on sheets of paper and had absolutley no-trouble getting in. The site is very safe and would use again.

Great venue by the lake with good restaurants and bars a short walk away. Not a bad seat in the house!
2011 National Champs!! Nothing better than watching the dogs beat up on teams at Amsoil.
Game was great but seats were not. They were at the drink rail. 216 row 9. At first they seemed good, but when people sat in front, we couldn't see the ice. The drink rail is set too far back and you can't see.
Can't beat the energy level of a college hockey game. Amsoil Arena is a great venue - we enjoyed the game... go Bulldogs!
I was only 1 of 6000 that had the visiting team sweatshirt on. Nothing ill was said to me. It might have helped that my team, the visitors, lost both games
The seats were great considering we waited until the last minute to purchase them.
Great view from our seats! The arena is really nice and the team always puts together a great game.
First time being to the Amsoil, but having gone to other arena's for college hockey games, its a little smaller. Upper bowl tickets are prob better seats as far as views goes. The 6700ish stadium is a bit on the smaller size compared the the Ralph so a lot smaller area. Sure sounded like there were more SIoux fans there at times then Bulldogs. Another minus, getting a beer to watch the game? I guess Amsoil is alcohol free. You have to leave go downstairs to some place that looks like the basement of a frat party. Why didnt they just make a bar at each end like the Ralph or have vendors inside? Kinda wierd if you ask me. Oh well, good games overall. I would def go!
Thanks to the outstanding play of the UMD Bulldogs, I had a great time at the game!!
My wife and I brought our 2 year old son to his first hockey game and our first visit to the new arena. We sat in the 2nd row behind the glass and had an unforgettable night (final score notwithstanding)!!
The games were great, any time we get to see the Bulldogs is great, however, the seats in Section 221 and row 9 were the terrible. We sat on the rail and had to look down to see the game. If the people that had regular seats in front of us leaned forward, no one could see. these should be sold as standing room only, be casue we had to stand on the chairs just to see.
My family and I had never been to a hockey game before and had a blast!
i rated this event as average only because of the seats that we had,we had seats directly behind the alabama team . as long as the team was seated i was able to see but as soon as they got up all i saw was there backs, unfortunatly my 9 year old was unable to see any of the game. so watch where your seats are. the game itself was awesome.
