I had no idea this was going to be filmed for live TV. I enjoyed every second of it. These guys make you feel like "family", they interact with the audience so perfectly. Was good to hear of their personal experiences in how they got where they are today, their most embarrassing things that happened to them on stage etc. I saw Jersey Boys and would see it and this show again and again!
From the opening notes of "Oh, What a Night!" to the final chord of "Hey, Jude!" and everything in between this show rocked! This group is amazing, and then they start with the solos, and you realize how strong a vocalist each member is, individually. There is a great mix of music and the show never once drags. There were so many standing ovations that my friends and I laughed later that we felt like we'd been at mass, up and down we went! There were times when staying in your seat just wasn't an option, you were up and moving! The guys made everything look so effortless and seemed to be having so much fun themselves, that they made it fun for the audience, too! I would highly recommend this show to everyone!
What a fantastic group of talented and funny entertainers. This show was far more than I ever expected
Wow, what a high engery and fabulous show. Their are a very talented group of guys who who bring together a sound that is clear power and exciting. Not only do they hamonize as one of the all time professional best, individually each of the 4 performers showcased their unique talents that alone anyone could be a lead for a group or solo performer. Their range of music and sound, quality and stagemanship is second to none. These days having a having a large live band ( no soundtracks for effects) is refreshying adding even more depth, engery and talent to the show. Even the most ultra cool dude who didn't really want to be there was out of his seat.
This show was such fun! It was great to be part of a PBS taping. The sound was terrific and the guys put on a WONDERFUL show---the audience was into it and there was much dancing/singing/ and rocking out!!!
DIDN'T KNOW WHAT TO EXPECT AND WAS PLEASANTLY SUPRISED BY THE RANGE ANDMIX OF SONGS AND HOW WELL EACH SINGER VOCALIZED AND HARMONIZED. MICHAEL WAS HUMEROUS AS WERE THE OTHER FELLOWS. HIGH ENERGY, WELL PACED AND FLAWLESSLY PERFORMED.
All I can say is four very talented guys who put on a great show! I recommend them highly especially if you like older style of music . This show was taped for PBS and will be broadcast in December, so catch it then!
This show kept you moving to all the great hits of the 50's, 60's and beyond. The talent was incredible! Who would have guessed that one of the Jersey Boys could tap dance? I didn't realize that one was a rocker, either! When each song was finished, I thought it was the best of the evening...until the next song was sung!! Great evening out!
My husband (in his early 80's), I and another couple went to see Under the Streetlamp! It was taped live for a PBS show and I didn't notice ANY mistakes!! We all felt uplifted and full of energy!! I don't know where these guys get their enery!! Their voices were also fantastic!! We loved and enjoyed every single song they sang--the dancing was awesome too!!
Because this show was being taped for PBS, The flow of the show wasn't very good. My biggest complaint was the studio lights were on the whole show. The glare made it difficult to see, very distracting. The Music was good , But Because this was so well rehearsed the cast seemed like robots.
High energy. Great talent. Fun concert. Especially better since it was a live taping for a PBS special, which made it even more interesting to see how live tapings are done. Made for some very funny moments.
Entertaining....delightful.....energetic.....artistry....talent............personality......magical.....I would recommend this to everyone! I dare you NOT to like it and enjoy yourselves.
The performance was amazing. The stars were amazing. The audience was amazing. It was superb. Very entertaining. Great music and choreography.
From Rock and Roll to Do-Wop and beyond, UTSL keeps the audiene on its feet. It's a feel good show.
So many different songs, such talented singers and musicians - we couldn't have had a better time.
The music was wonderful. It was interesting watching everyone deal with the recording process.
This was a fantastic show. These four guys have so much talent and can do anything. They entertain the audience every minute they are on stage. I loved the show and in fact can say that this was probably the best concert I've ever been to and i've seen a lot. I hope to catch them again when they are near. It is amazing how entertaining they are. This show is a five-star rating and everyone who can should see it.
The event was wonderful. The sound was the best. I have seen the group many times, and this time was one of the finest. Great music and great voices. I loved it.
I cannot say amazing/brilliant/entertaining enough. My hands hurt from clapping so much!
These guys sound great together and have charisma. I of course enjoyed them as "Jersey Boys," but I think they will go far when a broader audience has a chance to hear them. You will enjoy all the songs and the choreography.
