With the mantra “Retro never sounded so now!”, the dreamy voices of the four lead singers of pop quartet UNDER THE STREETLAMP are poised to bring the repertoire of The American Radio Songbook of the ‘50’s, ‘60’s and 70’s to a whole new audience while simultaneously reminding the original fans why they fell in love with the music in the first place. UNDER THE STREETLAMP breathes fresh new life into the music and proves that great music is timeless.
I was very tired after a hard day's work, but came alive after hearing this amazing group.
The guys all looked like they had fun and I would of thought that they had been friends for a long time; was surprised they weren't. They had good chemistry and humor, and the song selection was great.
It is so good to see young, clean-cut, masculine men, that can sing and dance. All have fantastic voices and different ranges. Their harmonies are right on. The material is classic rock hits from thd 50's & 60's. They are all naturals and fun to be with. I will definitely go to see them again and take a friend. They remind me of classic Hollywood musicals by their appearances and the beauty of their voices. I'm sure Liza Minnelli would love to do a show with them.
These gentlemen are INCREDIBLE. worth every penny & i'd pay again to see the SAME show nevertheless another show. Very talented funny young men who know how to work the crowd and really shows their love for music on stage.
First of all the tickets and everything on the net says the show is 7PM. The door open at 7PM and the show starts at 8PM. That is a extra hour down time to kill. The show itself was good however the some of the song choices were not the best. I thought I ordered seats on the lower balcony rail and not the seats we were assigned. Because other seat were available after the start of the show, we were able to move.
These four guys are incredible performers. One of the best shows I've seen. Can't wait till they come back to LA.
Under the Streetlamp is a new group who debuted on PBS. DooWop as well as other songs of the 50's and 60's. Unbelievable harmony, moves, and patter had me smiling for 2+ hours and on a high for the rest of the night.. I'm looking to where I came see them again soon.
Wonderful show with so much energy and enthusiasm. Great sounds..brings back fun memories. Terrific group yet the individual acts were Super also!
These guys rock !!!!! I saw the original pbs concert from several months ago ,before the tour, But now their tour has started. My wife and I very very impressed. This group has grown a lot in the last few months I think they will be here and more popular than ever for a few years to come!!!
My seats were great, the music was grat, the singing brought back times of my youth.
My wife and I, both in our 60's and grandaughter, 14, had a blast. Very very fun ...
Yes, I had already seen them on PBS, but thought seeing them in person would be so much more fun. Boy was I right. These guys are so much fun. Each one of them is a true artist in their own right. Although this is not my style of music, I got to thinking and realized that this is EVERYONE'S style of music. It's classic, you'll know the words to nearly every song. But most importantly these four handsome men perform them in a way that will keep a smile on your face long after you have left the event.
This was their best show yet. Each show gets better and better. As soon as PBS airs this concert, they will be loved nationwide. These four men are so talented and truly have star quality. Michael Ingersoll on his own is great and I'm sure each one of them could do their own show, but together, they are awesome! I am a 60-year-old groupie!
This was such a special event! These guys have worked so hard to get to where they are and their passion shows on stage! They truly love to have a good time and their music is infectious. They are embarking on the ride of their lives and are bound to live as true rock stars! Before long, they will be a household name! Bravo boys!
Loved it all, the guys are funny and you can tell they love what they're doing. Loved the songs and their dancing.
We have been great fans of these outstanding entertainers since seeing them in "Jersey Boys" in Chicago!! Seeing them perform again in a smaller and more personal venue where they could interact with the crowd was a real treat. Being there while the program was being recorded for future broadcast on PBS was also an entertaining plus!! Was a job "well done" by all involved!!
This was an energy-filled show. The four guys have wonderful voices and stage presence. Their choices of songs and medleys were perfect! I loved having the musicians on stage, too. Michael Cunio and Shonn Wiley really know how to move. All the choreography was pleasing and complimented the music. I could see it again and again. If fact, I have plans to do just that!
The concert was good. Had seen them before at Paramont Theatre. The PBS taping interrupted the flow of the show which took away from the oveall experience and continuity of the show.
The guys knocked this one way out of the park. The show was full of energy. The artists they are paying tribute to can only said one thing "Thank you for making our music even better." You don't have to be a Jersey Boys fan to enjoy this show. All 4 guys ROCKED and ROLLED like the legends they are!!!!!!
What a great show! Had us rockin' in our seats! Their voices were beyond amazing & their stage presence was so entertaining! They are very versatile young men who will go very far. Their singing & acting abilities are wonderful. We would definitely see them again & certainly hope they return to our area!!
