Great show, as always. Too many people getting up during the show...
They sounded really good. We are so glad we had the opportunity to attend their 50th anniversary show.
Nice venue, convenient parking, great sound. Love this band. They never disappoint. Great show overall.
The can still ROCK ME ROCK ME LiIKE A HURRICANE. They were awesome even after 50 years. I seriously hope this isn't really the end. Hard rock at it's finest.
1st time at this venue. I loved the layout! Didn’t seem like there was a bad seat in the house. Friendly environment with plenty of employees to assist. Nice bar set up with reasonably priced liquor (I had Crown Royal)....8 bucks. Only criticism I have was the sound quality....not sure who to point the finger to. Does UFO travel with their own limited 1 size fits all equipment or does the venue provide. Either way my wife and I had a great time. Would definitely go again to see a favorite band...maybe then I would be able to figure out responsibility of sound quality. JV
The show could not have been better UFO delivered like a band that was in their prime, not on their "Last Orders" Phil Mogg is impressive working the crowd effortlessly with his classy demeanor and still strong vocals. Gotta love the class and humor of a well dressed English Gentleman. The band is on fire as Neil Carter has infused a contagious energy and enthusiasm that extends to the fans as well as the band. Opening act Damon Johnson was a pleasant surprise dishing out selections from his impressive resume with Brother Cain, Thin Lizzy and his solo work. The Genesee Theater is a classy venue that soundd great. The staff were extremely welcoming and created a festive environment. The evening is one I soon won't forget, and being a betting man I think there is more to come from Phil Mogg and UFO.
Was a little concerned about Moggy's voice, but he sounded good.Vinnie Moore was up to the task of playing the riffs and solos of the classic tracks. Neil was very animated and looked like he was having fun.Good sound quality- could have used just a little more volume- but that's me. Played a lot of tunes that people wanted to hear- even back to the 70's. Very enjoyable show.
Had an excellent time at the concert. First time at the Genesse theater. Reminded me of the Pabst theatre. Great venue for a concert.
It's supposed to be original lead singer Phil Mogg's final tour, but I have a feeling after they take a break from the world tour that I will see them again next year! Excellent show and was not very dissapointed!
Great theater nice sound and UFO played a great song list.
The band’s playing was solid and Phil’s voice was strong. I was a bit apprehensive before the show that I would be disappointed but it was a classic playlist that they performed very well.
The venue is amazing. The Genesse is an incredible place to see an event. UFO sounded amazing. They played all their hits. Was a ton of fun.
The show was amazing, they played the hits, and what the audience wanted to hear.
One of the best shows I've seen in quite awhile. Music was spot-on, acoustics were great, and the venue spectacular.
The guys continue to play great... will miss them !!
Dream come true to see both bands in one nite ! UFO all time favorite did not disappoint seeing them for the last nite was a strange feeling .... BOC played some deeper cuts not normally played in concert which was awesome for a die BOC fan !
UFO was awesome! They still have plenty of gas left in the tank. Sorry to see Phil Mogg retire but I completely understand. First time at this excellent venue. My one complaint is that UFO was supposed to be the headliner, not BOC, so they went on stage at 8:00 & played 3 less songs than other shows on the tour that they headlined. Would have been nice to receive a heads-up e-mail from Ticketmaster, as I’m sure many people primarily came to see UFO & missed a good portion of their short set. UFO did post something on FB about it, but that’s Ticketmaster’s job. Better communication guys!
UFO at Penn's Peak was AWSOME UFO should have been the second show not the opening act. Blue Oyster Cult who followed UFO was a BIG disappointment. I saw Blue Oyster Cult a few years back at Penn's Peak. Great show, vocals were right on, as was the choice of songs they performed. NOT this time. Many people left the show after a few songs. They sounded like a garage band practicing. Not even a banner behind them on stage. I would NEVER pay to see them again! I wish it would have been UFO the whole concert.
Penn's Peak is a classic venue for heavy Jams. But, UFO coming out first was a major downer. They put on a great show (as always). BOC was the standard warm up band, they lacked any pop. Did not help that UFO started playing while we were still trying to get in.
It's a shame UFO are on their last tour. They still put on an awesome show. Blue Oyster Cult seemed a little off, but still rocked better than most bands I've seen recently
