UB40 Featuring Ali Campbell in memory of Astro Tickets

Very fun danced all night didn’t sit down once great gig

UB40, our favorite band, was fabulous as always! But we did not get our full fix. Opening band was great and played for almost an hour. Then Shaggy came on for an hour and a half (too long). Followed by UB40, for about an hour. To celebrate their 40th Anniversary, and all of the years we have attended their shows, the celebration seemed low key. UB40 is an amazing band with rich history, they deserve the spotlight.

I had such a great time with my family and friends. it was an easy process with having our tickets on our phone. It was awesome to be escorted to our seats. I also love how i was able to change my seats to get seats with my siblings because i had insurance. i would high suggest for everyone to get insurance on your tickets in case friends or family decide last minute to come and you can always have the option to change your seats to be with them in the same row or same section. UB40 and Shaggy were amazing. The lighting, the band, the singers, the camera people that was filming and projecting on the big screens were all great. loved it so much that im thinking of going to their concert at Pachanga this sunday.

One has to be aware that there are now two groups naming themselves UB40. UB40 featuring Ali Campbell and Astro features the two lead singers of the original UB40. There is another UB40 that is fronted by Robin Campbell (Ali Campbells` brother). This concert is about the UB40 with the two original lead singers -- it actually gets as original as it can be. At the same time, the concert is very streamlined, one can tell they have been doing the same setlist for a while. If you are just looking for the live version of many of their songs, this is the place to be. However, there is hardly any interaction with the crowd -- pretty much on the other side of the spectrum as fellow countryman Coldplay (which provides (to much) interaction with the crowd). Having said that, the venue was quite intimate, despite it being outside and being all the way in the back. Speaking about Coldplay, the sound at the UB40 concert at the Fivepoint was way better than Coldplays sound at the Rosebowl last year. About the set list: it is a nice combination of known songs, some early songs (which was quite a nice surprise) and a very few newer songs. Well done, UB40 Featuring Ali Campbell and Astro!

I was very disappointed with the seating and pricing of these tickets. I bought my tickets 2 month in advance for $119 dollars and was seated in orch2 row 10. My Aunt bought her tickets a week before and was seated in orch 4 which was the middle and row 4 for $65. This maked no since to me. An almost $60 difference for a better seat.

Like always, concerts at FivePoint Amphitheatre in Irvine are always a pleasure. Great traffic guidance: in and out of the venue. UB40, Shaggy, and more were awesome.

Really tight sound, great performances by Ali and Astro and a very good set list. But come on guys, how do you justify an 8 minute wait before reappearing for the encore? It was like the half time break at a soccer match!

very disappointed in the audio of the opening band The Green, the only reason why I went to the show. The audio was not nearly loud enough compared to the main act UB40, I was there a few weeks ago and the opening bands audio sounded great. UB40 were awesome, Shaggy was a joke and waste of time

It seemed as they played a shortened set! They are always great live though! Granted this is irvine it seemed a lot shorter than one of their normal shows!

This is the third time we have seen UB40 and they are always a great show. Unfortunately the band tours with 2 versions due to management issues, it would be great if the boys could work it out and get back together as a single unit. UB40 is a band we have listened to for years especially during in the back yard during bbq’s in SoCal. Ali still has a great voice and Astro is one of our faves. We particularly liked this concert because they played so many of the songs we love. It was a great show and they are touring with Shaggy who was an absolute blast. The

Their performance was one hit after another and they still sound amazing. I was touched and moved to tears as their music is my teen years and so unique. I wished they would have acknowledged each band member, who is original, etc. They sounded awesome and the set was so cool!!!

I went to the show to see the Green. Unfortunately I missed them for the fourth time now.. I was so sad and upset that they had gone on and finished before I arrived. I was late -7:05 walking through security but I honestly didn’t think they would have ended so quickly. We did stay to watch the rest of the show and I must say it was worth it. Shaggy and UB40 were amazing. It was a great show although I was still disappointed that I missed the Green again. Thank you

The venue is poor. Top price for tickets yet you could not have regular bathrooms? Tickets should read. 5 point, Andy Gump Bathrooms Amphitheater. Sad excuse of a venue.

OMG! What a fantastic performance given by Shaggy! My friends and I were dancing non stop! Shaggy knows how to keep this audience engaged! Lets not forget the legendary UB40! It was our first time at this venue and we had a blast! We danced all evening..loved it when UB40 came back out and closed out the concert with "Red red Wine"! Amazing show!

Have a Blast with the Reggae Band I Love since i was a few years old

One of the best concerts I’ve ever attended. Initially we were worried about the venue. As much as I love Petco Park we didn’t know how a general admission event would look or sound like, but we love UB40 and pushed on. We were more than pleasantly surprised at the personal feel, amazing sound, and of course Shaggy & UB40 killed it. Thanks to Ticketmaster!

It was a good concert in Irving,Texas. I love SHAGGY and UB40. It was awesome to see and hear them Live! It was another group also called The Green. It was my first time hearing their music. I really liked it. SHAGGY was the best overall. I wasn't disappointed! I look forward to my next event soon.

the band line up was great from "the Green", "SHAGGY" and ofcourse my child hood band UB40!..I would come back again and see them. AWESOME NIGHT!
