About
Tyler, The Creator is a rapper, producer and fashion designer from Hawthorne, California. Born Tyler Gregory Okonma, the artist got his start in the late 2000s as the frontman and co-founder of the alternative hip-hop collective Odd Future. In 2011, he released his debut solo album, Goblin, two years after dropping his mixtape Bastard. Solo albums that followed include Wolf (2013), Cherry Bomb (2015), Flower Boy (2017), Igor (2019) and Call Me If You Get Lost (2021). Additionally, Tyler, The Creator has produced songs for the likes of Mac Miller, Kali Uchis, Frank Ocean, Solange Knowles, SZA, A$AP Rocky and more. Tyler, The Creator is set to release his seventh album, Chromakopia, on October 28, 2024, after which he will embark on a sprawling North American tour throughout much of 2025.

by Brit on 10/2/19Yuengling Center - TampaRating: 5 out of 5Not that it’s the responsibility of the security to provide water for the crowd (which we’re thankful for)— i think we’d appreciate not having it thrown on us during performance intervals, rather it be handed in cups to all parts of the pit. If the arena can charge us $4 for water bottles that don’t have a cap (which leads to it being spilled because of close proximity) you guys can treat us like people and HAND us water.

Great show, organizational issues
by Sarah on 10/1/19Yuengling Center - TampaRating: 3 out of 5I purchased GA tickets, as I normally do, and arrive 5-6 hours before the show to secure a close spot in line in hopes to be close towards the front of the stage. Me and my 3 friends waited in the grass among the 30-40 people in front of us while the line piled up behind us and circled around the venue.. The organization of this venue was awful. Out of nowhere around 5:00, everybody from the back of the line charged to the front cutting all of the people who were spending hours and hours waiting for a close spot up front. This is when they had not 3.. not 2.. but 1 person wristbanding people while we were PILED in a huge riot of people throwing trash, yelling and cutting in front of one another. After getting a wristband we then waited in a second line, when all of the people again from the back charged up front and created a separate line. Somebody should have come out, announced that they would wristband people in line one by one and then open up a few lines to let everybody in efficiently. This venue sucked and I wont be returning back. The show, was great. Goldlink, Jaden & Tyler put on a great show but the organization of the venue to get in was absolutely awful and a waste of my time.

Tyler the creator and Jaden Smith brought the house down and it was the most spectacular concert I’ve ever been to. Parking was easy and the venue was clean and orderly. If Tyler the creator goes on tour again i would go to any concert he sells because it was the best one I’ve ever been to. His energy and art style just blew me away.

I never thought I would have the opportunity to see him live so the experience was definitely surreal. I sat in section 118, row F. Great seats, got to see the back of Jaden Smith’s head while he sat in the crowd and watched Tyler perform! I wasn’t updated on a lot of Tyler’s new music but I loved it all. Tyler is such an incredible performer and he’s so talented. I have his lyrics tattooed on my back so I was really excited to see him perform the song I have on me and I was not disappointed. Jaden Smith was also awesome. I’m definitely behind on his music but I loved everything I heard and he’s definitely underrated as a rapper. Goldlink was cool. I’ve never heard anything from him but he was a good performer and great at building hype. Overall 12/10 experience. Tyler is an amazing showman, Jaden is seriously talented and Goldlink was a great opening act!

Some of the staff can be a bit abrasive, clean place.Overall this concert was by far on of my favorites that I have been to. Great Concert and Venue

GoldLink did a good job of getting everyone hyped up. LOVED when Jaden Smith did Summertime in Paris and everyone had their cell phone flashlights lit. It was beautiful. Tyler was great - that fire display was insane! Also want to note that they started right at 7PM on the dot. And it went until about 10:30PM. Venue - easy parking, no long lines in the restrooms or to get food/drinks. Lots of attendants and security around. Seats were easy to find.

Show was great, venue was awful
by Langiotti on 10/1/19Yuengling Center - TampaRating: 2 out of 5A smaller venue, like the Yuengling center, should be the ideal place for a show where the audience wants to be a little closer to the performers. There really aren’t any bad seats. So I purchased seats on the 100 level, not the GA floor. And I spent a bit on them so that I could enjoy the show without the chaos of floor standing room only crowds. However, I was still standing for the entire show and having to go get security to remove people because there are no attendants actually working the show. People were coming down from the 300 level and crowding into the stairway aisles. When they were told to move, they would cram into our rows in front of us. None of them had tickets for the area they were in and no one was there to check tickets when they came down. This isn’t safe. It doubled the amount of people that the basketball arena style seating can safely hold, it blocks all of the fire exits, and it leads to fights when folks who paid to be in the good seats can’t even see the show. Yuengling needs to get it together.
