Tyler Perry's Madea Gets a Job Tickets

The Play was great but then the concert afterwards was just as good, I'm surprised that the cast had the energy to perform at the level they did but I'm sure glad about it :-) Loved it!

Working was new for Madea in this play because she had enjoyed receiving checks each time a husband died. Now after eight husbands, she had to crucify her flesh and mortify her members in order to join the real world at the working level. True to form, Madea handles this new hurdle with her usual pomp and circumstance. She rises above her muck and mire of check fraud; shooting; fighting; cussing; sleeping around; and horseplay to assist the hilarity as only she can. With tack and aplomb worthy of a Queen, Madea educates her old friend Fruit Loops and restores order out of chaos in the lives of every character in the play. Madea is superb.

This play was awesome! We couldn't stop laughing. It was very entertaining and had a positive message. You are in for a treat!

Even though it was temporarily Madea that was the best play ever...

One of the best plays I have seen in years, as a matter of fact 40yrs. All young people need to see this play, and "they need to get their A_ _ 0ut." It was the truth, and every thing was perfect, written well! The concert was dynamite, I have seen all his plays except one because I was in the hospiltal, this was the best one of them all. What a way to go out with a BANG!!!! Your are the man Tyler, Love you! and God Bless.

Madea Gets A Job was my 7 year old son's first play, & out fist "date" in the city, & he loved it! I wouldn't have taken him if he didn't enjoy the movies at home. & call me crazy, but I don't think the content is something he should be shielded from. Tyler Perry has a great way of bringing real, everyday issues forward & make you laugh too. I have his plays on dvd, but seeing it live was 2nd to non!! The improv & connection between the cast makes you smile. It's obvious they're a family on the road. My son & I laughed & had a great time. Next time he's in town we'll definately go again!!

It was up close & personal...and I LOVED every minute of it! Especially the 20 minutes of [Soul]ful music! Takin it back one time! #YES! I won't ever miss anything Perry! :)(:

the play was great. my 5 year old son went for his pre-school graduation and he also love it. my son love all tyler perry playsand tv shows. he would love to meet the one only madea. so tyler perry when you come back to chicago please think about it and send me a e-mail please. tyler you are doing a great job.

I like it however was expecting more. Some scenes left you hanging like the scene were the daughter put her mom in the retirement home and is living in her house . I was expecting madea to meet her and give her some advice about what she did. That scene would have been good to see.

The play was good as usual but the concert was amazing. The performance was spectacular. The backdrop was great. I saw the play twice and it felt the first time when I saw it again. Tyler you did your thing!

The play was great...I went with my daughter and would do it over and over again....I love all of Mr. Tyler Perry work....

Took my Mom for her Bday and she absolutely loved it. I had a great time myself, its a great activity for the family. The mini concert at the end was s pleasent suprise as well.

This is the 1st Tyler Perry Play I have been to. I am 63 years old and enjoyed it so much. I recommended it to all of my freinds. I have seen most of his movies and loved Good Deeds. He is an awesome writer and actor. I loved the show after the show, I was schocked to find that the talent was exceptional and when Tyler sung I was blown away. What a treat. Keep on Keeping on Tyler, Luv you much this old woman.

The play was excellent! We enjoyed the message and the atmosphere was pleasant. We have attended several of Terry's plays and enjoyed everyone of them.
