So FUN and good for the soul!

by Anonymous on 6/25/12Arie Crown Theater - Chicago

This was a great show. Very entertaining and what you would expect from Tyler Perry. Definitely high quality content and actors. Beautiful singing and SO funny!! The only reason I gave it 4 instead of 5 stars was because the production quality, namely the sound quality was so poor. As the show began the actor wasn't miked properly and then the level of sound after that kept increasing. By the end of the show my ears hurt so bad from it being so loud. Besides that it was an excellent show that I would definitely recommend.

The play as great! It was funny! It had lots of valuable life messages and both the acting and singing performances were phenomenal. The musicical surprise after the play was the cherry on top of a wonderful evening! I would go see this again live.

I enjoyed the play, truely a healing for me as I heal from the lost of my husbands. Knowing that God is there all the time. Foot prints in the sand.

    Best play of the year!!!!

by ntricia on 6/22/12Arie Crown Theater - Chicago

I enjoy going to plays, but this was by far the best I've seen! I absolutely loved this play! I've loved Tyler from the beginning, but to see him work in person is mesmerizing! He is truly a master of his craft!!! The studio was Oprah's master class, the stage is Tyler's.

    Tyler Perry's play was amazing!!

by Neishad on 6/22/12Webster Bank Arena - Bridgeport

I really enjoyed the show, Tyler Perry is so creative!! The surprise performance at the end was also great!! I do think the Arena was very unorganized, they were still setting up seats during the show. This was unfair to Tyler Perry and his guest.

Funny with a touch of reality

by Readingteacher2 on 6/22/12Arie Crown Theater - Chicago

As per typical Tyler Perry fashion, Madea is on a mission that is both funny and real. I always leave his productions feeling uplifted both mentally and spiritually. He writes from the heart and shares a stong message of faith and the importance of family. A must see!

    MUST SEE VERY FUNNY HOWEVER.....

by Rockdude on 6/22/12Cobb Energy Performing Arts Centre - Atlanta

I saw the show at the Fox Theater and laughed so hard I figured for 30 dollars a ticket I would go again. I was a bit disappointed to know that there is no exact dialect for the show that a lot of it is ab lib and that Tyler Perry broke out of character at least three times for laughing at his own jokes. I was looking forward to the "name, phone number, credit card oh, no honey you look homeless you have no credit card.. Or.. who is over you..nobody child I am 6'6 or There are no Fruit Loops in Bankhead Highway.. He also changed the way he answered the phone at the nursing home. I was looking forward to handing the phone over to the supervisor to have her finish conversation. It was still very funny and if he comes back to Atlanta will see him again! The Fox show was much funnier

    Good Entertainment

by Dooskie on 6/21/12Arie Crown Theater - Chicago

Loved the play and the mini concert at the end was fun and a great way to end the show. Madea was hilarious and as usual had some words of wisdom that left me with something to think about and talk about on my drive home to Indy. The only negative is I could have done without a song or 2, but overall loved it!

    Only Madea

by TGIFREE on 6/20/121st Mariner Arena - Baltimore

As always, I truly enjoyed yet another Tyler Perry live event. Madea is a wonderful whack job and this time was no less than expected. The points addressed in this play, particularly the elderly "senile" mother with the dedicated daughter, were truly points to ponder. Great job, Tyler...and I thank you!

    More than I expected

by Nickib52 on 6/19/121st Mariner Arena - Baltimore

The show was AMAZING, Tyler Perry is HILARIOUS (or shall I say Madea). I love the way he strays from the script leaving the cast a little stumped..LOL... *******My worse moment was not being able to sit in the seats I paid for. The stage was pushed forward which left our section BEHIND the curtain, we were told by Arena officials to exchange our tickets for seats on the Floor (seats were behind the Front of the House soundboard, Section X) or Section 227! The seats in that section were less than what I paid. No reimbursement, no food vouchers, nothing but inconvience. I'm sure Mr. Perry was unaware of this situation that affected EVERYONE seated in Sections 105, 107, 103, 106...

    Madea Gets A Job

by PippieNReg on 6/18/12Arie Crown Theater - Chicago

I'm a HUGE fan of Tyler Perry... Just like his other stage plays, Madea Gets a Job was awesome. Some of Madea's lines were impromtu, but alot of what she/he said hit home for me. The play had me laughing and crying. I loved the play, and can't wait for Tyler Perry's next movie or play. Keep up the good work Tyler Perry :)

    Madea gets a job!

by Matrimonial27 on 6/18/12Arie Crown Theater - Chicago

Outstanding performance in acting and singing! The messages brought across were dynamic. My husband and I attended the show honoring our 27 years of marriage that day. We could not have been at a better performance than this one. In our professional and personal lives, we were able to relate and appreciate a well put together play. We had good seats. The unexpected, entertaining concert at the end just put the finishing touch on that performance. MR Tyler Perry job well done. Keep bringing out the best talents in people.

As always the plays relate to real life events, have spiritual and hilarious ways of portraying it to the world. I've seen all the plays and movies TP is the greatest play writer...
