This event was absolutely hilarious and the singing was extraordinary!! We did not know ahead of time that it was being recorded for DVD so that was an extra bonus. So many times there were adlibs amongst the players which caused everybody including Perry to go into unplanned spasms of laughter. I hope these were all captured for DVD outtakes!
The play was fantastic. However, I was disappointed that we had to pay considerably more than the $25 that Tyler promised the tickets would cost.
Tyler Perry is tooooo funny! Thoroughly enjoyed the play & the 'improv's' were hilarious!
One of the best Tyler Perry plays I have seen. The music was great and the outtakes were even better. I will definitely be getting this on DVD when it comes out.

The play, the cast and especially Tyler Perry was awesome!! I loved everything!
Play was witty and fun in the usual Madea spirit. What made it more fun is that the cast seemed to be having a good time while ad-libbing in several scenes. Overall, came away feeling really good.
I love watching Tyler Perry plays and movies. They are always great!! Would watch it again and buy the dvd for the play and the movie, if he does one.
Madea's Christmas was a funny an very entertaining experience. The actors/singers were great, and Tyler Perry's Madea once again delivers with the laughs and wit that has made them famous. The musical numbers at the end left me feeling good inside and out.
Wonderful, I think Tyler Perry and his cast did a great job. I was so happy to see Hattie, she was outstanding.
This play was hilarious! Good plot, kept us interested throughout the entire play. Tyler Perry should definitely take this one on tour. My only complaint were the fake secret services agents that were harassing people about taking pictures before the show. I can understand during the show, but taking a picture of my party in our seats before the show is ridiculous!
This was the first Tyler Perry play I have attended in person. It was hilarious and inspirational at the same time. He always keeps the laughs coming while providing a good word.
Prepare to have some side-splitting fun with Madea and family. Watching hysterical antics as a dysfunctional family tries to make Hay out of Hasty pudding. An upper class family is just too too much for the lower class Madea clan. Even Madea started cracking up when delivering the edgy lines. The story was funny and the talent was amazing. The voices were incredible. Every note, from the lowest to the highest was hit hard and strong. I could have listened to the singing all night long, it was mezmorizing. At the end of the show, Tyler Perry actually came on stage and engaged the audience with a brief dialogue. That was great too! Thanks Tyler for a wonderful, fun and joyful evening. I would go again just to hear the singing!
This play was all the way funny...was a little off being it that it was 90+ degrees outside almost summer and going to a christmas play, but Tyler Perry never fails me. I absolutely LOVED the signing. I took my grandma and mom and boyfriends mom and for a min you would have thought we were in church it was their first time experiencing a TP play and they LOVED it. oh yea, whoever played the little old housekeeper lady she was toooooo funny i freakin loved her. Tyler Perry I can't wait for the next one!!! i will definitely monitor the Tyler Perry site for future shows so I can purchase my tickets on time.
I LOVE ALL of Tyler Perry's Movies and Plays! This event was excellent as always. Cobb Energy Centre was a very good place for the play, excellent parking, the staff members was nice and friendly, convient to the highways. Again Tyler a Play well put together with all the Amazing Actors, Singing and the Band as always GOOOOOOD!
The production was great! Another TP success. The only downside was at the end where there were about three songs back-to-back and then a medley of Christmas songs by the entire cast. The medley was wonderful, but the other full-length songs over extended and caused a little boredom. But overall I loved the play and encourage others to see it!
My family came from Alabama and absolutely enjoyed the play. I have been to Tyler's plays before and as always him and his cast was wonderful. What I enjoy the most about his plays is that they always have a message about life.
Tyler did a very great job of bringing the holidays early this year. The storyline was familar and the performers were amazing. Their voices were that of angels. Great choice of cast. BAM and Madea are quite the tag team. Only con was the music towards the end of the play should have been played throughout....
What can I say when it comes to Tyler Perry stage writiing is one of a kind. Not only does him and his cast does a great job working together doing the play but they all can sing. I love to see him going out and finding new talent to bless us with each and every time. It's really great to hear how he is giving back to his supports by making the ticket prices low. This allowes every one from every income range a chance to see a stage play. If you didn't laugh your head off during this play then something really must be wrong with you. I must say over and over again I'll support this brother as long as God keeps blessing him to bring laughter for the sou. This will be another one of Tyler Perry video's I' ll be addinhg to my collection this year.
Tyler never cease to amaze me, the twist and turn this play took keeps you guessing until the surprising end. I love Tyler and I love Madea, Tyler keep on doing what you do because many families can eat and pay their bills because of you. May God Bless you in all of your continued earthly endeavors.
